Robert Duvall in pretty much anything he's been in. Morgan Freeman in Shawshank.
Not that he's a great actor, but can you picture anyone other than Tom Cruise as Maverick? GOT was pretty well cast in general. |

If I had to pick 3: Les Grossman Hanks in SPR Cleon |

Quoted: Ian McShane as Al Swearingen and Garrett Dillihunt as both his characters in Deadwood. I don’t know that I could be civil with Dillihunt if I met him due to his portrayal of Wolcott. Really the whole cast killed it, though. View Quote Agreed on McShane. I like Dillihunt but I really, really don't like that they cast him for two characters. |

Matthew Broderick - Ferris Beuller
Bryan Cranston - Walter White Joe Pesci - Tommy DeSimone |

Jeff Bridges made a terrific Big Lebowski, and John Goodman was a fantastic Walter Sobchak. And Steve Buscemi nailed the role of Donnie.
Pretty much the whole cast of The Big Lebowski nailed their roles. I wish we would have gotten more Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Brant in that show. |

Val kilmer as doc Holliday
Heath ledger as the joker Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice Leon as, well, Leon. I can't remember his real name |

I liked how well the cast of Band of Brothers looked like the real life members.

Quoted: I'll second Oldman being a Chameleon, his range is uncanny. Until about three weeks ago I had no idea he was Mason Verger in "Hannibal." View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Hugh Jackman as wolverine Gary Oldman is perfectly cast in all his roles...one of the best of his generation I'll second Oldman being a Chameleon, his range is uncanny. Until about three weeks ago I had no idea he was Mason Verger in "Hannibal." You have a good range of actors who define a single role as themselves. There's a few, like RDJ and Ford, who have two or three roles they have effectively defined as theirs. But Oldman sets the definition for basically every role he plays. |

The entire cast of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest was brilliant.

Tommy Lee Jones - in every dang role he ever had, he’s always the same character, from MIB to The fugitive.

Jackie Earle Haley as...
Rorschach. Watchmen The Terror. The Tick Odin Quincannon. Preacher Grewishka. Alita: Battle Angel Freddy Krueger. Nightmare on Elm Street -remake George Noyce. Shutter Island DC Mason. London has Fallen |

Came here to say Ledger as the Joker.
But I remembered back when Jack Nicholson was the greatest Joker, and Ledger was the absolute worst casting of all time. Everyone was so angry about it. Then everyone saw Ledger as the Joker, and now his name is posted in this thread over and over. |

Maybe someone else could have done it well too or maybe just because I love the movie but I thought Michael Biehn nailed it as Kyle Reese, hard driven time travelling lone soldier in The Terminator. Really hammered the lines home when when it counted.
"I didn't build the fucking thing!" "It doesn't know remorse or pity or fear and it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!" |

Dominique Swain as Lolita. She was good in Face off, but she absolutely fit the part of the promiscuous, userer, nymphomaniac.
So well, in fact, that i didn't see it until almost the end. |
