Quoted: @shotar do you have a P365? View Quote I do not. I have a 320 in a WC grip module. Off duty I carry a 43x. I like my 43x and it fits the logistics of my employer. I may look into a 365 this year, but the nearest Sig Blue label dealer is half the state away since Topgun Supply lost their LE dealer status. I am somewhat limited as since the 2020 ammo shortage, we've been limited to two duty pistols and one off duty. Choices had to be made. As to these claims of rust, I just pulled a Sig mag out of the door pocket of my cruiser, it's been riding there for 2 years including road salt season. No rust. |

Much respect to you sir. Am I dishonest SIG owner if I say that I have had a rust issue other than on the old stamped guns? Also, this is why, when I carry IWB, I use hybrid holsters with a leather backing or at least high enough kydex to eliminate skin/gun contact. I also typically run an undershirt, usually an underarmor compression shirt as well. Amazingly no issues with rust or corrosion in over 20+ years with my Kimber 1911, Sig M11A1, Sig P938, G19.4, or P320 X-carry. My P320 hasn't shot me yet either. |

No rust on my 365 spectre, but the gold finish on the barrel wore easier than I expected.

I shoot it as well as my G19 if not better. That's all I have to add.

P365 #1: Had bald spot on slide. Had Gen1 striker so I experienced light primer strikes with nato ammo. Sold it.
P365X: optics ready version. You lose the rear sight if you install a RDS. Hated the flat trigger. Sold it. P365 #2: would frequently fail to lock back on empty mag during live fire. Mags did not always drop free. Probably a out of spec grip frame. Sold it. P365 #3: working great with an X Sized Wilson Combat grip mod and flush fit 12-round mags. Attached File P365 #4: NIB bought, as a spare in case number 3 breaks. |

Had mine for years. I didn’t own an actual pocket gun. I have both iwb and owb holsters. I’m very happy with it.
Edit: After reading the thread, I too have never had any rust issues. I live in south Florida, carry the 365 about 300 days a year. I clean the gun once a year. What am I doing wrong? How can I get this mystery rust? |

I've had an XL for almost two years. It is, hands down, my favorite handgun ever. Around 1k rounds through it, WWB 115 and 124, 124 cast PC, and 124 HST. No malfunctions. I've shot four 2-gun matches with it, one at night. My spare carry mag did rust, pretty bad. It sits next to my skin and I didn't know about the possible issue. I clean it more now and it stopped. Thats my only complaint.

I daily carry a P365. I have several thousand rounds through it without issue. It’s went back to sig for recommended maintenance (new springs) around the 2000 round mark. It still eats everything I feed if without issue. The only issue is I’ll occasionally drop the striker on an empty chamber due to riding the slide stop. That’s on me though.

I want a p365. Osage county guns had some new ones for $399. I am carrying a glock 43x now so I have not had a need to buy a 365. I have been trying to streamline my pistols instead of adding more

Good pistol, elegant design, not the best materials used, but they suffice.
Not especially a fan of the steel FCU riding in a polymer frame via friction fit and a single pin. My Macro has a bit of play in the front end where it dovetails into the grip, doesn’t inspire confidence in how well it’ll fit after a thousand rounds. Now the ace alloy XL frame I’ve got has absolutely zero play, it was a very snug fit during installation. Planning on getting a mischief machine macro grip whenever they’re released; maintains compatibility with light-bearing XL holsters, whereas the Ace grip is a competition style with thumb shelves that prevent it from fitting. |

@Lug1 have you tried the OEM 12 round mag? I have larger than average hands and it fits my hand perfectly. I keep the 10 rounders for when the tiles I need to make the whole thing smaller for concealment reasons (ankle or pocket holsters). I have a 15 round mag as well that I carry for a reload but it sticks out too far to carry concealed. Such a handy and adaptable pistol. It's become my exclusive "off duty" carry gun for the last few years.

I have a P365XL. Long time Glock shooter of several models. Really enjoy the 365. Have about 800-850 rds through it. Has become my primary carry piece. Switched to the Wilson short grip and 10 rd mag, and added an RMRc.
It shoots far better than I expected a micro gun to shoot. Just as accurate as my G19.5. Even though I added a red dot the factory sights are the very best OEM I have seen on a pistol. Bright and I like there is daylight between the front blade and each side of the rear. Very fast to pick up and align. I might get a another 365 just to shoot with irons, I like them so much. I got the RMR when I had bifocals and at my age could not see a sharp front blade. Since then I switched to progressive lenses and can now see a good front sight!! Just as a pistol I think it is a fantastic carry and shooter piece. Ran factory FMJ angle HST and gold dot through it as well as handloads with lead and coated bullets. I can’t believe the claims of rust. I live in Oregon. We have plenty of rain and humidity. The mags come coated with a reddish preservative. But once that is cleaned off and buffed the mags have a beautiful glossy finish and I don’t have a speck of rust anywhere. Really about the nicest steel mags I’ve seen. I have lots of the base plates to configure 10, 12, and 15 rd mags to either the original 12 rd grip of the short 10 rd WC grip. The only thing I don’t like are the $40-$45 mags. Ouch. I have several of each size and that was an investment as I plan to keep this forever. Had a Streamlight TLR7Ac mounted but the holster is is just too bulky below the belt. I got a micro to be comfortable so for now at least I took it off. The RDS seems to not affect carrying at all. There are probably other great micro pistols but I have really enjoyed the P365 and find nothing negative about it except cost of mags. Still buy and shoot lots of Glocks but the 365 is my daily carry. |

I would like to get the XL at some point and put the EPS RDS on it.

Almost bought an XL (seemed fine) but went with the Hellcat instead. If you like the P365, great, but if you really prefer the feel of the Glock platform, the Hellcat or G43 might be worth a look.
