 Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO) on Government Shutdown (C-SPAN) WATCH IT ALL. PLEASE. I'm not a "toe the party line guy". I consider myself a reasonable man. Michael Bennet, to me, seems like a very reasonable man. Don't agree with him on everything, but he's earned my respect anyway. ETA: I guess we can't even acknowledge a good point anymore. I didn't and wouldn't vote for the guy, but when you make blanket statement that everything a Democrat says is wrong you're undermining your own ability to be effective in a debate. ETA #2: Just watched Ted's rebuttal... he did a great job addressing Bennet's points. |
