I've never heard the term Edgar, nor seen an Edgar in the wild. Plenty of Amish here, though, sport a bowl cut, along with some nerds and dweebs. Edgars sound like scumbags and can stay out of my lovely state.

Been seeing a lot of kids with those broccoli top hairdo's and it makes me uneasy. They could easily hide a weapon up in that mess, like a shiv or something.

Maybe four decades ago, it wasn't all that odd to see a certain demographic walking around with an 'afro pick comb' stuck in their hair. Doing a quick search, such things are still available, though it looks like they now tend to be made of plastic. Back then, they tended to be made of steel and the tips could easily be sharpened, allowing them to be used in a method similar to a push dagger, though the result would likely be a row of small diameter punctures, instead of a single stab wound. |
