The Glock 28 is FINALLY in the USA! TL;DW: it's a G26 in .380 that couldn't be imported due to the GCA, so Glock is going to build them here. It's not the form factor I'd want for the cartridge, but it's forbidden fruit some have wanted for 20+ years. |

Please don’t let my wife know. She’s wanted a G25 for years. It’s about the only one she doesn’t have.
They will sell far more than they deserve simply because there are so many that want them for the collection

Fingerbanged one at the Darmstadt Rod & Gun Club in 99 or 00 when I picked up my G23C. Way too chunky for 380
They chose to do this rather than improve the mag capacity on the 43X/48?
Asshundts! |

I think once the 43 hit the market, a double stacked .380 became a non-issue
I always assumed there was a .380 G26, like a G27 in .40 but going the other way, but it's such a useless variant, for my needs anyway, I never looked into it.
Will the new one have finger groves? |
Think they will do a G25 (Glock 19 size 380)? I know it’s pointless but that’s the one I want.

If I wanted an oversized, heavy, blowback 380, I would just get a PPK. It at least has a fixed barrel and a meh trigger.

I never understood the point of a .380 once the micro 9’s hit the market.

The G42 is already too big for a .380, I don't see any reason to consider this. It would make far more sense to carry a more powerful cartridge or a much smaller gun depending on use.
Even micro 9’s recoil packs a punch for some so .380 to me is a great option for those that are recoil sensitive.

This is for the guy with a pile of .380 and nothing to shoot it with.
first batches will sell out so people can complete their Glock collection or just to get something that was not importable for years after that it is going to die quickly
I'm sure they'll sell a lot just off the novelty of finally being able to get one. The Cody Firearms Museum has one on display along with other rare Glocks and some the first importations of some.models.

I don’t understand…is it smaller than the 9mm? Why .380 when you can get the same thing in 9mm.
