I don't know. He just left.

He said that she deliberately did not seek an NRA endorsement, partially because her perception is that some people in the district (particularly those who support the Dem incumbent) might be pretty anti-gun, so she doesn't want to draw attention to the gun issue (and her support for the 2nd amendment) and potentially lose some votes she might otherwise have had, unless she has to.

The other issue in this District is that her opponent, the incumbent is literally a tranny (used to be Dan, is now Danica) who definitely used the "celebrity" of being trans to win the seat in 2017 - so the left are trying to smear her in any way to try to make her look like an extremist right-winger.

ETA: Keep in mind this is all based on a very brief conversation with her husband, so I might not be representing her position accurately.

There's a woman down here challenging for an R held senate seat who is using an image of her problem glasses as her campaign logo. She is, by everything I can find, a batshit crazy cat rancher.

I just wanted to mention that a wife of one of my colleagues is trying to take back the 13th District House of Delegates seat (around Manassas) from the Democrats. She is a moderate (but pro-life) Republican, and I think she has a really good chance.

Nothing on her site about her position on gun rights... That used to be a given with Republicans, I worry these days if they don't state it.

I think the issues she specifically mentions on her site are the ones that she has identified that local constituents care a lot about. I get the impression that the district is pretty pro-gun, so my GUESS would be she has a traditional R view on guns. Plus her husband is a west point grad and Iraq war vet, so I would be very surprised if she was not pro-gun.

I hope so, we need pro-gun people.

However, General McChrystal is a West Point grad and an Iraq war vet... I know a lot of people who have those qualifications and who are absolutely not at all pro gun.

Personally, I find their Texas style chili acceptable. It's not great, you can make better, but if you're lazy it's perfectly edible. Especially if you order chili dogs with it.

Built a 12.5" Grendel specifically for it this year. Got tired of lugging a heavy AR10 in my little girl arms.

But during muzzleloader I'll be out and about with a P53 Enfield repro; there isn't much on the east coast you can't kill with 530 grains of soft lead at 900 FPS
