Suppressed 11.5 with all the good stuff or 16" Recce with all the good stuff.
Good stuff = Low light optic, RDS, IRL, WL. |
|
11.5-14.5", suppressor, MLOK rail, light, optic, sling, enhanced CH.
Geissele maritime bolt catch is nice. Dass it. |
|
Depends. For general issue, the A1 was pretty on the money. I would update it with an A5 stock and free float it, but that's about it.

For general military use, force wide service rifle for uncertain future fighting conditions?
12.5-14.5” medium-lightweight barrel Free-floated lightweight MLOK rail TA-33 ACOG |

I'm going to leave the one's blank where I don't think it matters much so long as it is quality.

My perfect set up is a 14.7" with pinned QD suppressor mount, mid-length gas, m-lok rail, light, prismatic sight (I have astigmatism) or LVPO, and a sling. I can make hits out to 600 with that or clear a house if needed (it's not).

LMT MLOK or railed monolithic MRP. 10.5" barrel (or 11.5" for the babies).
With a decent sling, light, etc. |

One the one that works for you given the current task at hand.

Whatever it is, the perfect AR is piston driven, skeletonized and a grand or 2 overpriced.

16” barrel. Don’t care what the hive says. I can do everything from CQB to shoot and score reliable 300m hits standing with one.
If I were to upgrade one and only one thing on a stock AR, i’d Throw a 3.5lb trigger in it. |
