Fucking gay faggotry is what it is. I have paid for membership a long time on this site to not deal with ads.

One of the best things about paying was not seeing the ads. Was.

Quoted: Same. I'm ok with paying for a membership to supplement lost ad revenue, I get it...if I don't see the ads they lose money. But to pay and still see these ads, nope. Are these ads needed to fund the promised upcoming user name change feature?
|
|
|
This place will be like Dailymail where they have 200+ ads on the main page.
|

So page 2 now just got real popular.
New topics will be shitposted until they make it to page 2. Is that the plan ? |

This is complete bullshit. I'm not going to pay for a team membership on a site that forces me to view ads (or at least have to work around) |

Maybe it's time for a thread with step by step instructions on how to block all ads without a membership.... wonder how that would go over with our overlords.

Just noticed it.
My Give-a-Fuck meter didn't even twitch. "OMG, I was scrolling down the page and there was an extra 2 line banner that I completely ignored and it gave me heart palpitations!" |

How about you fix the programming that stops you from quoting the post directly above an add in the middle of a thread first
|

I am pretty sure one of the features when buying a membership used to be no ads.
Looks like that has been taken off the table. Attached File also, i guess this is what goatboy was referring to in this thread. It's aged well. |

Previously, I didn't block the ads in the header/footer because it didn't bother me. Now, every ad on this site is blocked.
|
|
This is over the top. Pay for membership and get ads? No. As in I will not renew my membership. Count me out.
Also who’s driving this train wreck of a website now? They should be fired for malfeasance. Or ineptitude. |

Memberships are probably down as a result of how certain situations are being handled, so now we've got to deal with even more ads to compensate for failure to listen to the membership. I'm sure that throwing more ads at people that were paying to not see ads is the best approach.

Come over to the non paying side, the ads are better. Alice is only 5.62 miles away and and wants to message me for a hookup!!!

Give us a like button and a ignore feature that keeps us from seeing ignored people completely, Quotes and all, and I'll be ok with those ads.

Every goddamn website wants to inundate you with fucking ads.
I pay not to have the ads. Since that doesn't seem to work anymore I am finished with the paid membership. However, I am sure the management did the math and figured out that they would make more money with the ads than they would lose from paid memberships. |
|
I’m not one to typically complain, but honestly I paid for a membership for this specific reason.
It was a benefit of being a paid member. Granted the ads are small, but I paid for no ads. Now I have to ask myself the question if I re-up on the 19th will you add more later on down the line after I pay more money. It may seem inconsequential but if you provide a service and state “no ads” as part of the service you provide, then later start putting ads in, there’s a trust there that’s been broken. |

NO MORE OF THESE ADS FOR TEAM FOLKS.
You can return to your regular pitchforks and burnings. Please fill me in on who we are going after, as long as it's not me! |
