I happen to like a lot of the ones from the other side too Me too - but every time I posted some original Waffen-SS posters from my collection I got abused for being anti-semitic which gets tiring after a while. Anyway at the risk of it again here's a couple of exceedingly rare originals I own (these are worth about $15K together). So flame away at me if you want........... http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/12/11/2219516/POSTERS/Anton-waffen-ss-660.jpg http://www.fileden.com/files/2008/12/11/2219516/POSTERS/Gerade%20Du%2072%20dpi.jpg For some reason, the text on the bottom of the second looks to me to be the German equivalent to, "Git 'Er Done!" |

a US citizen liking nazi propaganda is like a straight guy liking gay porn. just sayin. I guess my FIL who has a Nazi SS dagger is a "bad guy" also, right? More then a few Polish in his family were murdered by them, this was taken by one of his family off some dead nazi. I don't think it's bad, it's a part of HISTORY. |

I have my grampa's Arisaka T.99 bringback from the war. It is the only weapon I own I would never consider selling. The fact that I like it does not make me some sort of antipatriot. It reminds me what he went through to get it, and that the good guys won. It is a spoil of war taken by the victorious from the defeated enemy. |

Yeah, and WTF is up with people only focusing on Nazi stuff? You can have as much Nip stuff as you want, & people will just see you as a collector of historical artifacts. 'Course I guess there aren't too many "neo-Kamakazis" out there these-a-days, unless you count Odumbo voters. |

Flatwire,
Wow. I never expected to see that! I have the same 2nd Armored Div campaign poster, framed and hanging in my library! It was passed down to me from my Grandfather who served under Patton. (In response to your question below, yes he was a tank commander in the 2nd Armored) I noticed the folds showing in the pic that you posted. Our copy has those as well. I guess they all do. The story I heard was that the map/poster was mailed in an big brown envelope sometime shortly after the war. It sat folded and unopened on a shelf for 30 years or more until my mom and aunt had it framed for him. Regards, Bob |

Regards, Bob That's cool to have one from a relative who served under Patton - you don't see that poster for sale very often. Was your Grandfather in the 2nd Armored? |

Never heard the answer to this , but did we loose a good deal of ships in ww2 due to "Careless talk"
The vast majority I see are keep your mouth shut type posters, so i'm curious how many we lost , becuase it seems from alot of what I've heard about Uboat groups , most were found by chance/sheer volume of boats. |

There was one poster that had either the Waffen SS or Germania or someone along those lines shoving a lance into the Bolshevik dragon. I don't remember the details but it struck me as an extremely effective piece. Do you have any information on it? |

Things were much more honest then. grin. None of this PC bull crap. |

I pretty sure that translates to "even DU", as in "He's in a lot of organizations like the SS, and even DU" The Democrat Underground has a lot longer history than I expected, but I'm not really surprised to see the tie-in... |

The one I am thinking of had the dragon sprawled on a map of the USSR. The Bolshevik dragon motif must have been one of the approved themes for the Third Reich's propagandists. |
