Sela Ward in The Fugitive.
She was gone in a few minutes. Not as quick as Segal, nor as rewarding. |

Many of the characters in LOST.
Hurly’s girlfriend as a good example. |

I would say that his character probably had a little more than very little screen time but the one that I didn't see happening was Kevin Spacey's character Jack Vincennes in LA Confidential.
Didn't think Dudley was going to kill him in the kitchen while he was sitting there waiting for coffee |

Quoted: First thing that came to mind. Wasn't sure what purpose he served in the movie. I was a big Steven Segal movie junkie in the late 80's/early 90's. View Quote He was in it so they could market a John Leguizamo movie as a Steven Segal movie. Fooled me. I walked out of the theater pissed that I had spent money on it (I was a broke teenager). |

But that was one of the most out-of-the-blue deaths I have ever seen. The whole theater gasped. |

How about Alex Rocco as Moe Greene in The Godfather. Two scenes and BOOM, right through his glasses.

Not a movie, but a TV series: the police chief from Season 3 of Hell on Wheels. He was a genuinely good guy and deserved better than to be killed by one of the Mormon homesteaders, not to mention that he had a family. He also treated Elam like something more than a former slave.

Quoted: Bladerunner is full of interesting characters that die after one or two scenes. Holden, Zhora, Tyrrell, Chew, Sebastian. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Bladerunner is full of interesting characters that die after one or two scenes. Holden, Zhora, Tyrrell, Chew, Sebastian. With the exception of Zhora, it's a documentary statement of the lethality of Roy the skin job. A warning. A foretelling of the future. |

Quoted: Quoted: Steven Segal in executive decision. First thing I was thinking of as well. Me too. It blew my 4th grade mind the first time I seen it and always stuck with me. I thought Segal was the shit when I was a kid. |

Quoted: He should have gotten an Emmy for that part. I'm trying to understand your comment. So far I've come up with only two possibilities. 1. You are a Level 3 satirist. 2. You don't know that Emmys are for TV shows, and Oscars are for movies. Am I missing something? |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Quoted: Steven Segal in executive decision. He was apparently really fucking mad about that because he couldn't understand why he wasn't the star of the movie. I really didn’t want to see the movie because he was in it. When he was killed 10 minutes in, there was a good bit of laughter and applause in the theater. Then it turned out to be a good movie. My only regret is that he still got a paycheck. |

Even though everyone knew it was going to happen, Wild Bill in the TV show Deadwood. For such a great character, they killed him off in Season 1. I would have liked for them to get more screen time.
