Brands that when I buy, a substitution won’t do:
Milwaukee Arm and Hammer (toothpaste) Speer Gold Dots Brands I have had good experience with but am not tied to: Bulleit SIG Nissan Kohler ASUS Fruit of the loom (T-shirt’s and boxers) Rinaldi (sausage) |

None.
There are brands I will buy frequently based on quality vs price, but only as long as that holds true. As soon as I am aware of a better option, I'm gone - there is no loyalty. That being said, I have a deep appreciation for the pepperidge farm bakery and factory store a few minutes from me. $8.75 Attached File |

I guess count me in as one of those critical thinkers because while there are brands I prefer and maybe even gravitate too, there is no brand I'm 100% loyal to. I have yet to find a brand (regardless of product market) that doesn't have any duds in their lineup or at least one product in their line up that somebody else does better.
For instance, I think most people if asked which is better, Glock or Taurus would say Glock and I would agree except if you compare their 22 pistols. I think the TX-22 blows away the G44 in every possible way. Snap-On generally makes great tools, some are even phenomenal but some of them are not all that great. Generally speaking, Knipex makes better pliers then Snap-On (I love their plier wrenches) but NWS is even better than Knipex in some cases IMO (and I have tools from all 3). |

Knipex, Wera, Charmin, Bounty, Prusa, Atomic, Polymaker, 3D Fuel, Dell, Milwaukee, Orbtronic, Cascade, Spax, General Mills, and that's probably about it. At least that's all I can think of.

Apple
New Balance Many of my other loyalties have been shattered… 15 years ago this list would have included GM Craftsman Levi’s Goodyear Gillette Pepsi |

"Loyal" I don't know about - but brands that I consider a good value and based on experience with them give the benefit of the doubt, and who I endorse include:
-Palmetto State Armory: Solid guns for great price backed by amazing customer service. Basically, America's NORINCO of today for the gun enthusiast, giving you way more gun than you paid for; but backed with way better customer service. -Kia: 2020's Korean version of: "Japanese? Those cars are junk", of our age. Kia sucked 20 years ago. That was 20 years ago. LOVE threads where people talk shit about them - which is important to help keeping the pricing down. -Le Creuset: Way over priced pots and pans fashion branded - and yet, meals seem to always come out better when these are used |

None at all.
I don't give a shit what brand it is or who hates/loves it as long as it works. |

When it comes to material things, there are certain brands I check out first, BUT
"I'm sworn to fun, and loyal to none" |

Wouldn’t say loyal, but usually prefer:
Jeeps Spyderco Tactile turn Rolex PXG UA |
|
Glock
Spyderco Tactical Tailor New balance(not white) Makita Yamaha Several local businesses: Hardware store Auto parts store Etc. |
|
Wiha, Knipex and MIP for small wrenches. That's about it, honestly.

Since it's a gun website I'll say PSA first. Good rifles, great price, good mission.
Glock is half and half between loyalty and "everyone else has them so I have to have them too" I like Burris for magnified optics. Schecter guitars for electric, Ovation for acoustic. I cheated and bought a Taylor the other day though ...Dunlop Tortex picks. 0.88 or 1.0mm. Muy importante. Used to be a fan of Logitech peripherals, but they got all woke and I'm still looking for a replacement there |

All produce products but all products are equal. I am loyal to producers such as: G Rails and Triggers have all been solid performers Mazda3 and CX5 have proven themselves to me Apple computers and phones have served me well. I am typing in a 2012 MacBook Air, that has had the battery replaced by me I am not loyal to tires, they are hit and miss but I tend to gravitate back to Michelin and Bridgestone Most of the time I am more disloyal to a company because I bought a POS product from them once. Samsung, and Chevy come to mind. |

It used to be Ford. After our continued experiences with our 2015 Explorer, I am done with Ford. It hit just over 140,000 miles and it's been bullshit. It hasn't gone more than a month without some new issue that causes the check engine light or to be broken down on the side of the road.

No real brand loyalty from me.
I tend to buy whatever makes the most sense at the time. Sometimes it may be tier 1. Other times it may be tier 2, 3, or even lower. The closest thing to brand loyalty for me would be buying into a "closed ecosystem", like Milwaukee M12 and M18 tools. I have had other cordless tools in the past, but I have bought several Milwaukee tools over the last year because I needed them and they were the best price. If better deals came up on a different brand in a few years that works for me, I wouldn't hesitate to grab them and sell off the Milwaukee ones. |
