View Quote I had the same one. Loved Lamborghinis. When I was in school I always thought I’d start a business, buy a lambo, and write it off as a company car. I was close, but it was an F-150 instead. |

Had 1 in junior high. It was the plain green one.

I don't exactly remember the artwork, but I know it said "RAD DOG" on it.

Quoted: I did t have one (class of 88). I thought only the pussies used them. I didn’t care enough about to school to even show up half the time so I damned sure wasn’t going to carry one of those around. Funny story: senior year, getting ready for graduation. Everyone was clearing out their lockers and stuff. This guy comes up to me and says he got his stuff out of the locker so everything else was mine ( we had shared lockers). I didn’t know this dude and I didn’t remember ever using a locker. So he goes and shows me and my buddies. Sure enough, I had three or four textbooks with my name on them and some random papers from the first day of the school year. It seems I just stuffed the shit in there that first day and never returned. No memory of it at all. View Quote So you’re saying you graduated with honors then? |

Who didn’t, it was pretty much a staple in the 80’s and 90’s

I had a knockoff one. Jr/sr year of hs we got so many handouts, each class needed a 1" 3-binder and a spiral notebook at a minimum.

Quoted: Too expensive for us... I had a 3 ring binder with sheets of notebook paper.. I think in high school I had individual, spiral bound notebooks... View Quote Me too, I was poor. I always wanted one with a zipper because my papers would fall out of a three ring binder (I probably should have used the 3 hole punch rather than just setting the binder) |

Never had one. I can't remember having something like that, mostly just the regular spiral notepads. I did a KISS album drawing on the back of one of my notepads and some fucktard tore it off and stole it when we were away from our desks. What's funny is I liked the album art, but wasn't a KISS fan at all.

I had one for about a semester. Decided it was too bulky and pitched it.

Pee Chee was all that was available when I was in school but I never had any. We were so poor we had to use paper bags as book covers.

Holy shit, I had that. And a couple of others.
At some point I came the conclusion that there were better ways to carry office supplies around. Does anyone remember having to put paper covers on textbooks? Did that actually make books last significantly longer in service or was that just a big waste of time? |
|
Of course, and I put stickers and used white out to draw all over it.
My daughter is in Jr High now and has one. |
|
I had it for a day. 1993, Jurassic park. After school I played on the playground and left it by the swings. Walked home and was asked where it was, went back and it was gone
Did not get another one |

Big Chief Tablets ... Pee Chee folders ... Trapper Keeper ... generation checking in

Little tidbits like this jog my memory and I remember how much I absolutely fucking despised school.
I fucking hated it. Almost everything about it. Until I got to vocational school as a junior and they treated you like an adult if you acted like one. Those were two good years. |

Didn’t last more than a few months and my parents smartly said to start using regular folders. |

i went and got one in 2007 as my first edition leaders book. still have it

Could not afford one.. after my parents devoiced in 1977 I was basically left on my own. Had roof over my head, but not much more, had to work to eat and buy what I needed. I was only 16.
Busted tires down and changed batteries out at the Sears auto in the evenings and weekends. Thanks OP for the flash back |

Took a 5 subject notebook and the textbook for that particular subject to class, go by my locker and get the next subject(s) textbook(s) and so forth. Study hall at the end of day I knocked out the homework assignment, never took the books home.
