I know I see more old Chevy trucks on the road than Ford. I can't think of the last time I've seen a 60-80 Ford truck going down the road.

This is how I see it too on a day to day.

But yes the new commercial talking about reliability is beyond retarded.

I wish I could make it through a focus group to be filmed in a commercial just to be a dick. Obviously I'd be told to leave but it would be awesome.

I see chevy/GMCs trucks daily into the early 2000s. I do see more F150s than GMs ranging from 2013ish to brand new though.

ford is king here, we have 3 people in our neighborhood with mid 80s f150s, GM never did as well here historically

GM sucks ass.  Everyone that touts the solid rear axle forgets that everything else is crap.  My business partner has a ‘15 Denali xl with the 6.2L.  He’s got around 70k on the thing and it’s been in the shop for a transmission, the struts, brake lines, fuel pump, rear differential.  I have a 2006 f150 that has 84,000 miles, it’s been in the shop for a bad O2 sensor.  I also have a 2011 expedition that turned 100,000 and just had the front struts replaced.  His wife’s Land Rover has been more dependable than his Denali.  Fuck GM, and I was looking hard at a Denali XL because of my family.  I’ll end up getting an expedition xl next and my 14 year old truck still doesn’t have rust on the frame with an annual coating of fluid film

I saw that Taco/Chuck Norris commercial yesterday during the Bears/Eagles game, and thought to myself "See, GM, this is how you make a car commercial."

That GMC "Na na, hey hey" tailgate one can eat shit and die, too.

And Chevy more reliable than Honda, Toyota, and Ford? In what parallel universe?

Because some poll said so.

I wonder how much GM paid JD Powers to get those results?

One set of drive shafts u joints
One steering shaft u joint thingy.
One signal light bulb.
One Fog light bulb

@Girlieman
Not serious.
Other than normal wear and tear expenses this truck has cost me $1000 in repairs... That's insignificant IMO

The Top Gear episode where James and Jeremy make the VW commercials is hilarious too.

Pretty sure if it weren't for fleet sales, GM would be in a very bad way. Only thing they make worth buying is the Tahoe/burban/Yukon line.

The Toyota Tacoma commercial with Chuck Norris is pretty good.  When my wife sees it and laughs and tells me I “should get one of those for your next truck” it says something.
