All day, every day.  A pair usually lasts about 2-3 years until they're beat.

I used to be a collector so I have many different color schemes, but these are my dailies.

salomon for me.  Fits me like a glove.  I bought a pair of Nike's recently that I cant wear.  They feel like 90 bucks of cheap shit.

I got salomon  gore tex some time back for less than 100 bucks.  Bought a second pair and they are still in box.

I had some Nikes about three years ago and they were horrible. Loved them when I was in elementary school, though

My experience with skate shoes that aren't Vans have been hit or miss. My last pair of Nike SB air's got punctured well before they were worn out.

I prefer either Sk8 hi's, or Half Cab's. The biggest issue that I have with Vans is that you usually blow through the sole before the shoe is truly trashed, but by then its a funky mess anyways. The only exception to that current rule is my Pro cup soled Sk8-hi's, as the sole seems to wear like damn iron vs the rest of the shoe.

I'm wearing slides today (no socks), though.

Ahh I can't attest to them for skating.  I wore Vans 15 years ago when I still skated.

All Nike SB dunks are in any size are dunks with a lot more padding.  Most comfy shoe I've ever worn other than the Lebron IIs.

The world has been offered two choices chief. Salomon or anything else. At this time salomon has 45% of the votes and EVERYTHING else has a slight lead. The best.   What is the beat vehicle?  No clear winner.  Best shoe probably salomon.

Worst person and largest failure in this thread?  You

I don't skate.

I loved my Nike SB dunks, before something got into the bottom of the sole and popped the air chamber.

Gotcha.  That is a problem with a lot of old Nike designs, but I've always had good luck.

Anywho, bought time we brought some flavor to the old man shoe thread.

Men in fancy shoes stayed home from the Great War. They spent and gambled a thousand fortunes away in the stock market. Most of them could not face the beast they had spawned and lunged from buildings to crush their shame. Others lived on shouldering the Great Depression and fighting in the second war only to have more fanciful Nancy boys slip on fresh loafers to hasten the decline yet again.

In the Great war they even fought in fancier shoes than people wear now.

Asolo FSN 45s were the best hiking boots I've ever had. After I beat them to death, they no longer made that model. I tried another, but they made my feet ache. Oboz gave me sore feet as well. Currently have Salomon XA Pro Mid GTX, and they seem pretty good.

Running shoes, I switch between Pearl Izumi EM Trail N2V2 and Altra Olympus 1.5.

Casual boots, Wolverine 1000 Mile Courtlands.

Have a couple pairs of Johnston & Murphy dress shoes, meh. Probably get some AE's soon.
