I am not going to name names, but the Biden administration has almost no political experts, diplomats or even subject matter professionals that the rest of the world can rely on for reasons of diplomacy. This administration is the most incompetent since the 1960s, and there is no one to simply talk too or call for issues of national defense.
It is the fault of the democratic party, starting with Clinton appointees, but at the same time there are few Republicans who are stepping up. It really started with Obama, but holy shit the state department under Biden has lost the plot. If Americas current diplomats worked in the private sector, they would be removed for incompetence and unreliability. It is so bad, even North Korea is complaining they have no on to negotiate with. Myanmar wants to desperately move away from China, but no on in Washington is picking up the phone. Thailand is going to join Brics, and don't think Singapore and Indonesia are far behind. South Korea is thinking about it, and there is an energy land bridge that is extremely tempting for them. Most countries in Asia are taking the view, even begrudgingly, that they need to wait and re-establish relations after the election and see what happens. Janet Yellen is regarded as a complete, and utter failure. Asia, is hoping and waiting for Trump. We all want America to sort itself out, but its been 4 years of Biden and his team, that's a long time.... |

The governor's office has a whole lot of prerogative, the Department of Water Resources has the prerogative on how to interpret these laws. By the way, the law does give priority to the folks that have senior water rights, so that's parcelled true. But the governor, I'm gonna plead that the governor exercised leadership here and that the legislature exercise some leadership and put, build some framework. What we need to have them do is build some framework around these agreements and around the laws so that, um, we don't lose all of our agriculture in this area and that appears to be the plan.” |

That may have been about the time Putin supposedly said something to the effect of “Why do we need a world if Russia isn’t in it?” Everything about that war is geared towards escalation instead of de-escalation and the portion of the speech from the President of Serbia that DarkStar posted yesterday should sober up everyone to the potential of what may be coming to us all very soon. If NATO was planning on eradicating Russia, I saw that plan start with action, and I was Putin, I'd send all my nukes flying as a final "fuck you" to the whole planet. But we’re told that Putin is insane for thinking that. If Israel has the “Sampson Option”, why wouldn’t Russia have a “Vindictive Vlad Option”? After all, wasn’t that also the whole purpose of Mutually Assured Destruction that kept us from escalating things beyond a certain point during the Cold War? |
