I suppose parts still need heat treating and fitting things like the lock to the blade which would probably be far beyond the abilities of most folks who'd order a knife kit.

Kellam Wolverine
80CrV2 steel at 64rc progressive temper 20° included bevel with a tiny 0.010" micro-bevel. 3.75" blade and 8.125" over all. I had to tune up the edge after this photo because the factory machine ground micto-bevel was too toothy. I worked the bevels to almost a zero grind and then I put a new tight clean micro-bevel on it at about 30°. It carves as good as it looks.  Attached File |
