You can still buy their stock. It’s on the pink sheets. Currently it’s at .0026/ share.
You missed the run up to .02 a few weeks ago. |

Guess you need to head to radio shack next then.
I miss Hollywood video more, they folded right quick. Shame the hq was pretty cool. |

You need to stop by Radio Shack and get a new LaserDisc player, they're so much better than VHS.

The only video store that was still in existence was Family Video in my small town. Many locations were next door to Marcos Pizza. Unfortunately, the pandemic of 2020 shuttered all the video stores. Thankfully, Marcos Pizza is still up and running. BTW, Two For Tuesday BOGO pizza is awesome. What a great restaurant.

They closed all of them here back in 2010. The Hollywood video stores here closed around the same time. It made me sad- I grew up renting video games, VHS tapes and later DVDs from Blockbuster. I still rented movies from them right up until the end, even though getting DVDs in the mail from Netflix was more convenient (remember that?).
Hell when I was a kid a lot of grocery stores rented VHS tapes. |

Quoted: Oddly enough.. was just talking to a friend of mine about this not to long ago.... The last Family Video in the city (that I'm aware of)... Finally closed up shop about 8-9mo ago. According to wikipedia they are liquidating.. We drove by it often as it wasn't far from the grocery store we go to, and it never seemed to have cars there, so I'm not sure how it survived. I had a friend a few years ago that insisted Family Video would make it and that I just didn't understand the home video rental market. |

Wait til you hear about this covid thing that's been going on

Apparently the Anchorage and Fairbanks stores closed in 2018 and 2019 respectively.

I recently started carrying my Blockbuster card again.
Any time someone is dumb enough to card me for alcohol (I don't look anywhere close to being underage), there's a good chance I'm showing them that. I've received reactions of laughter, anger, and genuine confusion. |

If you need your Blockbuster Video fix, you can always watch Captain Marvel. Dunno if the juice is worth the squeeze, though.

Well if you makes you feel any better, you can probably just buy the movie you're thinking of over at Circuit City.

I visited 12% of the remaining Kmarts in the world on my trip down south.
Blockbuster reminds me of my times working in the Music department of BN. People would walk in, look around, and say “This support still has music? There’s a lot less of it than the last time I was here!” I always wanted to reply with “Yes, and that is why.” |

I hate to tell you this, OP, but your Late Fees are gonna be a BITCH!
Better make damn sure that you rewind. |

Quoted: Imagine one day we will tell are kids that we would get in the car with our parents and drive to get a damn DVD View Quote We rented VHS tapes. And we were kind to rewind. Hell, I remember when you could rent a VCR from the video store. Not everyone could afford one, ya see. |
