Roadrunner uber alles.

Did get the best vehicle out of the bunch.
I admire Wile E. Coyote for his sheer dedication, destructiveness, and clever use of the Acme corporation's extensive mail order catalog for creative solutions, but at the same time Roadrunner was one of the few characters who never really did anything malicious as an instigator. He'd eat some birdseed and otherwise just kinda run around or beep. And that was about it. He was willing to live in peace, and never even really reacted with violence - at most with redirection of violence sent his way. Almost like he was some kind of enlightened creature.
By contrast, Daffy rarely let water roll off his back as the saying goes. Of course, that depended on the era and whether he was a trickster like Bugs, or when he was just a foil for Bugs.
ETA: Going to have to go with Bugs, because Bugs Bunny saved Mel Blanc's life after a car wreck.
http://www.openculture.com/2013/05/the_strange_day_when_bugs_bunny_saved_the_life_of_mel_blanc.htmlShort version is Mel Blanc was in a coma after a car wreck and couldn't be revived. Unresponsive for weeks.
Doctor asked him one day "Bugs Bunny, how are you doing?" He responds with "Ehh, what's up, doc?"
Mel would go between radio shows all the time and hop in and out of character. The doc basically triggered part of his brain that would respond almost automatically in character. Fired different neurons or something, and brought him back out of a coma.
