Bugs, by far. Bugs was always cool, calm, and in control of the situation. One of the mottos I live by is "Uh,Oh, Think fast, rabbit".

That said, I don't dislike Daffy by any means, he's a wild card, more than a bit chaotic, but he's also fun, and reminds me of a lot of people I've known in my life. Woo, Hoo!

Daffy's character is more interesting.  Crazy, selfish, sly, prone to anger ...
Bugs looking out for number 1 and good at it.

This is an EAZY one.  No one likes a fucken spaz and Daffy's entire thing is he is a spaz. Sure it is good for a quick laugh. But if you are going to hang wiht someone, you want the cool guy, cool under pressure and he likes to mess with the opponent too, EASY Win = Bugs!

Road Runner is#1, then probably Foghorn Leghorn for Warner Brothers.

Personal favorite is Tom & Jerry.

Daffy saw the future. And made a song about 2020.

I nominate this to be the OFFICIAL Democrat theme song.

You don't want to go down that rabbit hole, no pun intended.

At least it's not as bad as Sonic the Hedgehog stuff.

Mel Blanc?  He was the voice of both Bugs and Daffy.

(and Tweety, Sylvester, Yosemite Sam, Elmer Fudd, Speedy Gonzales, Foghorn Leghorn, etc., etc.)

I like the 1940s version of Daffy better, before he became a foil for Bugs Bunny in the 1950s. Daffy used to be like Bugs, an instigator. Then they made him an asshole.

Good example here:

Did get the best vehicle out of the bunch.

I admire Wile E. Coyote for his sheer dedication, destructiveness, and clever use of the Acme corporation's extensive mail order catalog for creative solutions, but at the same time Roadrunner was one of the few characters who never really did anything malicious as an instigator.  He'd eat some birdseed and otherwise just kinda run around or beep.  And that was about it.  He was willing to live in peace, and never even really reacted with violence - at most with redirection of violence sent his way.  Almost like he was some kind of enlightened creature.

By contrast, Daffy rarely let water roll off his back as the saying goes.  Of course, that depended on the era and whether he was a trickster like Bugs, or when he was just a foil for Bugs.

ETA: Going to have to go with Bugs, because Bugs Bunny saved Mel Blanc's life after a car wreck.
http://www.openculture.com/2013/05/the_strange_day_when_bugs_bunny_saved_the_life_of_mel_blanc.html

Short version is Mel Blanc was in a coma after a car wreck and couldn't be revived.  Unresponsive for weeks.

Doctor asked him one day "Bugs Bunny, how are you doing?"  He responds with "Ehh, what's up, doc?"

Mel would go between radio shows all the time and hop in and out of character.  The doc basically triggered part of his brain that would respond almost automatically in character.  Fired different neurons or something, and brought him back out of a coma.
