Nothing more was ever mentioned about lone officer strategies, tombstone courage, hostage situations, lack of comms, or running to the sound of the gunfire, which sounds more like a Richard Simmons exercise video than a good tactic to use in a gunfight. We plebians don't need armor or radios. Especially not on vehicle stops at night for an unknown occupant. Because, "Nothing ever happens in Parkland! You're the one who's a troublemaker!" |

OEMC said the kits are being installed under a new program called "Safe Chicago" in partnership with the Chicago Fire Department, Chicago Police Department and the city's Assets and Information Services."  If Chicago were Safe the kits wouldn't be needed.

Are they also installing 269 people trained to treat trauma wounds using these kits? It’s not all as basic as slapping a bandaid on a paper cut. I see a lot of misapplied tourniquets and compression bandages in their future.
