We don't like how that is looking, and how much it would block some of the light when added. https://i.imgur.com/uXL3z83.jpg We are playing with this idea. This is stained glass spray paint. It's difficult to apply to a curved surface as it needs to be added pretty thick to achieve the right results. https://i.imgur.com/U6hUp3v.jpg We had a little problem on Friday, but I'm hoping we can make this turn out decently. I think the idea is solid. Hopefully application doesn't get too mucked up. https://i.imgur.com/J4siMmZ.jpg View Quote For the jets/tail, maybe a VERY wispy polyfill with a light blue misting on them to go into the tube (like a few wisps of fiber barely holding it together, if you cannot see through it pull it apart more)? Leave the lights as the orange and then have the super faint light blue mach diamonds between. That one tuft you have in the tube that is currently red should be enough to pad both tubes with some very wispy mach diamonds with a right , tight translucent blue to them. You can get model spray paint in translucent/transparent. Need to fall in love with translucent paint rather than the "one coat coverage' as that one coat opacity is just too much sometimes, even when applied sparingly. Failed To Load Product Data https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B0000WRZYC While at it, add these next two to the canopy having a light grey background and a black silhouette of the pilot Failed To Load Product Data https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B000P9B9XI Failed To Load Product Data https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B01HP2HXAK (Though I'd just suggest getting auto paint and some reducer and use that well under the fume hood) It's all partially transparent and opaque after 3-5 coats depending on how much reducer you mix. Very Cool on the beaver, clever recycling. I suppose next we need to add security systems to identify the moron that has to break stuff Something like a stock to put hands and head through for people to throw rotten food at would be fair. I don't think we need to rush into drawing and quartering, but if that first bit doesn't get the attention, maybe that would. |

Ruin someone else's work, or car, or home, and be out of the area when they find out. At leadt if you punch someone in the mouth you see their reaction to it. |

COCKPIT TO TOWER Coms
Tower: "Delta 351, you have traffic at 10 o'clock, 6 miles!" Delta 351: "Give us another hint! We have digital watches!" -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tower: "TWA 2341, for noise abatement turn right 45 Degrees." TWA 2341: "Centre, we are at 35,000 feet. How much noise can we make up here?" Tower: "Sir, have you ever heard the noise a 747 makes when it hits a 727?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------- O'Hare Approach Control to a 747: "United 329 heavy, your traffic is a Fokker, one o'clock, three miles, Eastbound." United 329: "Approach, I've always wanted to say this... I've got the little Fokker in sight." -------------------------------------------------------------------------- There's a story about the military pilot calling for a priority landing because his single-engine jet fighter was running "a bit peaked". Air Traffic Control told the fighter jock that he was number two, behind a B-52 that had one engine shut down. "Ah," the fighter pilot remarked, "The dreaded seven-engine approach." ------------------------------------------------------------------------- One day the pilot of a Cherokee 180 was told by the tower to hold short of the active runway while a DC-8 landed. The DC-8 landed, rolled out, turned around, and taxied back past the Cherokee. Some quick-witted comedian in the DC-8 crew got on the radio and said, "What a cute little plane. Did you make it all by yourself?" The Cherokee pilot, not about to let the insult go by, came back with a real zinger: "I made it out of DC-8 parts. Another landing like yours and I'll have enough parts for another one." EBR |
