Our statehouse the last decade seems to get it. They're far from perfect, but with firearms they've been better than okay, short of great.

That's funny, NY's GOV had a A rating from the NRA.
Sure is working out well... |

That’s pretty awesome to get a politician to even show up much less shoot.

That's great.
But why say you are full? MI is circling the drain. Some of us will flee. Why not welcome us? |

We ain't so bad.

People like her get re elected because they hustle and go to some shoot when they'd rather sit by the pool at home

Kudos to you OP.
I love introducing newcomers or greenhorns to shooting and shooting suppressed. It’s pleasing to see that smile after dumping a mag. |

Quoted: Even though my State Senator, Sandy O'Brien, isn't a "gun person", she understands the rights we have under the Constitution in the United States. I invited her to my annual HTF shoot yesterday and she showed up. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/146014/Screenshot_20240615_214317_Chrome-3243423.jpg After interviewing with a firearm magazine that was also hanging out for the day (he can chime in if he choses). I talked Sandy into trying her hand at shooting something other than a shotgun like she shot a long time ago. Another ARFCOM member worked with her for a few minutes until she felt comfortable enough to send a few rounds down range. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/146014/Screenshot_20240615_214156_Gallery-3243431.jpg Was she a great shot? No. Will she take up the sport? Probably not. Will she continue to vote for pro-gun measures in Columbus? Very, very likely. She was surprised at the number of kids shooting and we talked about the 4-H Shooting Sports program. We talked about how healthy it was to see them outside doing something they enjoyed and not tied to a screen. It was a great day! BTW Ohio is full. View Quote Time to call the Honey Truck. |

Too bad Sherrod Brown was not down range when she was firing.
Ohio gun laws are not all bad. |

Funny part is I was going to wear my Sandy Obrien t shirt and grabbed a looser fitting one instead.
We also had a prominent arfamous original arfcommer member roll through, who happened to be passing through on vacation. Great to meet Cavvet after 24 years. |

Looking forward to joining her as a Delegate at the Republican National Convention in a few weeks. Good on you for inviting her and for hosting the shoot! |

If it's a private establishment, they can ask you to leave. If you don't leave, you are trespassing. Their place, their rules. Just go someplace else if you don't like their rules and why would you want to patronize anti gun establishments anyway? |
