Hellbent, when I was originally wanting a 1911 (have had two springfields now) I was interested in the Remington, but I've not been able to find them in my area under a grand. Not sure what they go for in other areas, but here in SWMO, they command a premium. Never could get past the slightly modified GI sights, though. Still, pretty gun, and good shootin.

Great price but I still would be bleeding. I would need one with the beaver tail and rounded hammer to be comfortable to shoot.
Your a pretty savvy shopper yourself.  I seem to do better in the used department.

The smooth one fits my hand perfectly. Of course I don't have large hands so even shooting a Beretta 21 isn't a problem. Productive day, got all the floors washed, house is spotless & I'm pooped.

Good morning & Happy Monday Sa/oU!!!
Feeling rested & ready for the new week on the horizon, that is once I dragged my fat ass out of bed.  They raised the speed-limit on turnpike to 70 mph this morning, arrived at work earlier than usual. Have a software trainer arriving from NJ this morning for next couple of days. My attorney has yet to get here, hope he arrives soon, ugh. The only excitement thus far is Terry's pants sent me a text this morning. Forgot to toss yogurt for breakfast in my bag, will have to make due with mild Slim Jim's (no carbs) Hugs from here friends, have a NICE day!  |
