Our 15 year anniversary is next month and I thought it was a good reason to celebrate.
She won't get it until the 26th, and then we leave for Italy for 10 days. She won't ever buy herself nice stuff, but she also says she likes boujee things so this will fit the bill. It's a 36mm Datejust with an oysterlock bracelet, fluted bezel, and a palm leaf dial which has been discontinued. I would never wear it myself, but I think she will. I kind of got the idea after watching Maverick 2. Of course, it was Jennifer Connelly, and it was an Explorer, but a sports watch on a girl still looks good.  |

looks nice. is the bezel white gold? I put a white gold bezel on my stainless. mine has a white face similar to what you have there. classic look imo.

Yes the bezel is 18k white gold. The rest is stainless steel.

Thanks, it's a bit of a gamble. She wore a watch way back in nursing school, but hasn't for a few years. She isn't a watch person per se, but puts up with my habits (and guns, which far exceeds my watch spending).

Nice! My wife has tiny wrists she can’t pull of a 36mm. On two waiting lists for a 28mm for her.

All dressed up. I'll give it to her on the 26th, I will have to take a link or two off the bracelet. For now, it's squirreled away in the closet.
