I have a Brunswick Tremont pool table and Simonis 860 green/blue cloth being delivered.

Any accessories you guys would recommend for a billiards room?

Billiards room?..No. I have no advice for that.  But I can’t help but ask why?

If the room is big enough to shoot from anywhere on the table without touching a wall. You are ahead of the game.

I’d consider a tip shaper, glass rod maybe a cue holder that clips to a table top.

I have a billiard room.

Get lots of good microfiber towels. You will use them every day. They clean balls and cues better than any non chemical.

Get good lighting for the table.

Don’t put anything breakable on the walls around the table.

Need good lighting for table.

I’d go with premium balls.

High seat bar type chairs around table area.

TV in good viewing angle from pool table area.

Nice table cover.

Bridge

Don’t cheap on sticks.  Have a good weight assortment.

Color match chalk to felt as much as possible

Powder

9 ball rack

Mine turned into a $7k laundry table within a year. Hope you have better luck.

You need great lighting.
Aramith balls for the win . A nice 8 ball and 9 ball rack . Chalk as close to the color of the felt . Get the kids cheap cues . Mine use my old Cuetech break cue . No way are they using my nice Meucci's or McDermott's

If you have enough space around it, add 30% more space around it.

also, fuck those fancy pool table hanging lights, recessed lighting ftw.

Cue sticks are over rated, it's all in the tip and technique/skill. Don't break with your shootin' stick. I shoot with a Cuetech, break with a McDermott break/jump stick.

ETA; Much can be learned about technique from YouTube.

Chalk (talc) holder, they make a chalk cone to lube your left hand (thumb and forefinger) it’s a must have.

I know her. Cool person with an impressive work ethic. She made a nice living in an industry most players starve in.

She has overcome some pretty serious medical challenges in her life. The latest one being cancer.

Don't cheap out on an installer. A good mechanic can make mediocre equipment play great. A bad one can make great gear play like shit.

It may not be easy to find one but its worth it.

If you don't already have your own cue/cues get Dufferin house cues or some Cuetecs. You can go as crazy as you want here but if it is a recreational table with guests playing on it or especially kids any cue you leave out will end up destroyed. Dufferin one piece house cues are a nice compromise between quality, playability and cost.

I like Master chalk. Again you can go nuts on exotic chalks but Master has worked for decades.

If you want the cloth to last keep it clean. Some say a vacuum is not good for Simonis. I always used a damp rag. Spread it out, wipe the cloth down and it will dry out pretty quick. The rag will be full of chalk when you are done.

My old set up. Pool guys of a certain era may recognize it.

Get some of those pot passers.
Make sure you line the pockets with paper so the biscuit crumbs don't fall on the floor.

The last line is key. After my niece smashed the glass on a painting with a pool cue trying to get an angle on a ball, I took them all off the walls.  You need more room to play the game than you think.

Fantastic time waster and stress reliever. Popcorn machine for snacking, mini fridge for beer/water, dartboard for non players, and dust buster for cleaning up random stuff that is annoying to try to brush off. And don't ever ever ever use it to wrap presents on with wrapping paper containing glitter.

How about a nice elevated table and a couple of stools in the corner? Perhaps a retro type elevated light over the table for looks?

Good fortune in your endeavor OP!
