I think the biggest reason why it's not designated a terrorist organization is because most business insurance premiums don't cover acts of terrorism. Business owners would never be able to collect insurance on losses, and would cause most to go under in a heartbeat.

I have a SERPA from back when they were still cool, for my p226.   Because of the mounting hardware offset, or lack there of, both the KT Mech and the Gunfighter will sit much closer to your body and conceal much better.   The SERPA is more of an open carry OWB, not a concealable one.

Antifa is a descendant of the early 1920s fighting brigades of the KPD (German Communist Party) and became a specific entity in the early '30s, they were the ones that were out fighting the SA (Nazi) and Freikorps (generally pro-Kaiser nationalist veterans) during the street fights of the Wiemar Republic; particularly in the lead up to the election that got Hitler elected Chancellor. They were revived in West Germany and generally seen as a "more moderate" alternative to something like the Baader-Meinhof/Red Army Faction among others, all of which were outlets for West German communists and socialists after the KPD was banned in the mid '50s in West Germany.

The Fascist party was Italian, but it was also a socialist party; the difference between Fascism (big F, as practiced by the Italians, and later Germans) was that the Italian/German version of socialism rejected the internationalist aspect of the various Communist parties which sprung up all over the world which were all pledged to follow the lead of the Soviet Union, as they were the first Communist nation and therefore had both tremendous say in how things worked, as well as expected the mandates from Moscow to be followed by all of their comrades in other nations. Mussolini was not only an Italian communist and a member of their own street fighting groups before he became a Fascist (big F) but he also edited and wrote for their newspapers, what caused his change from communism to Fascism was that he was an Italian nationalist and also realized that the atheistic nature of communism would not fly in very Catholic Italy. So that's how Fascism came about - at it's root it was socialist but it denied internationalist communism, allowed for certain free market principals out of necessity, and also remained generally non-antagonistic on the question of (at least Christian) religion, and that's how it became the dominant party in Italy.

Hitler took the Nazi (National Socialist German Workers) party, which originally was a sort of scatter-brained copy of the Italian Fascist party but with German (here they included all Germanic peoples) nationalism being the central focus and aside from a demand economy less day to day impact of socialism on the general population, aside from things that were actually both popular and traditionally German such as insurance, vacation allowances, etc. The Nazis were definitely socialists, they just weren't communists. The other main difference between the Nazis and the Fascists was that the Nazi's nationalism went to an extreme which resulted in their crackpot racial theories, which allowed for the initial purging from public life and then later outright extermination of the Jews and others they considered enemies of the German race. The slide away from being a "pure" socialist party to more of a "command economy" sort of socialist party is what eventually got the leadership of the SA killed off during the Night of the Long Knives, Rohm and his cronies envisioned a more broadly socialist policy than Hitler and the SS (along with most of the other non-SA Nazi leaders of the time) were aiming for so had to be taken out.

The pre-war German Antifa didn't become Nazis though, the original 1932-3 Antifa wound up in Dachau along with every other KPD person of note. The Nazis weren't about to recruit anyone who was Antifa into their ranks. Now some of the earlier KPD guys did bounce into the SA and/or Freikorps (and vice versa) but by the time Antifa was actually formed they were the hardest of the hardcore communist street fighters and they weren't going to get any mercy once the Nazis took power. All of the fighting groups of the time used the same tactics, and most of those tactics are used by modern Antifa for the same reason: they work. The idea of street violence is to move the middle towards your cause, either through intimidating them outright or by making the other options seem worse. In the case of the original Antifa this backfired on them as they also attacked the police and military with a greater vigor than the Nazis (who were attempting to co-opt them) and this caused the broad middle of German politics (the Social-Democrats, whom Antifa also labeled "fascists"...sounds familiar) to be completely opposed to the KPD in the elections, after a few compromises and that's how you wind up with Hitler.

Linguistic drift has taken the concept of "fascism" and applied it mainly as an analog to any system that is authoritarian in the extreme. To most modern people, when they use the term "fascist" (little F) they aren't referring to Italians of the '20s-'40s but as a lazy way of saying authoritarian to an extreme. Antifa wants total control over everyone that goes against their worldview, they suppress ideas they do not like and they use street violence coupled with a political framework to try to reach their goals, so by the modern concept of "fascist" they are indeed the fascists here. The people they're fighting, the ones they claim are "fascists" are basically anyone that disagrees with them. In their eyes, people that disagree with them are evil, and the most evil thing they can conjure up are fascists and Nazis, that's why they use those terms to frame both their political opponents as well as people who simply don't agree with them. Given PC culture over the past several decades they also believe that simply calling people a Nazi or a fascist is enough to make a moderate believe it; this isn't working very well anymore though since they have overused to the terms to the point of them being basically meaningless. I mean when you call a black police officer a "white nationalist" it sort of destroys all your arguments about how and why you label people the way you do.

Oddly I believe that was when I first said it. I read an article about the FAE's they were using with limited success and wanted to try hyperbaric devices. I was like "Wassamatter with a pocket nuke?"
