Let’s have a chat about this target.
The large dish is missing several pieces in May 21st 30cm imagery, and appears to be out of service. I see 6 smaller parabolic dishes all pointed roughly S towards the geosynchronous satellite belt over the equator. The small dishes don’t move between images that I can tell. This likely 70% means they are pointing towards the same satellites all the time, which also rules out low earth orbit. My assumption is this was either a satcom ground station or EW like Tobol-M Imagery show: Google Location: 44.7291572, 34.4868940 Imagery reviewed: Airbus DS 5-21-2024

More men have signed up, and some are even coming to our unit. We will have some of the first Ukrainians serving under us in Legion units. If you voluntarily enlist, you have the ability to decide where you want to serve. It was a legitimate question. I'm 50 and I would be fighting to join if they attacked my town like that. Just asking if there was an increase in enlistments. I apologize. Two years of snarky comments and all that. Yes, they seem to be getting the picture. Some of the guys coming to us now want to help, and avoid going directly to the zero line. One of my neighbors and I spoke when I came home. He is in the process of coming over now. We are taking on mechanics, drivers, and other such guys. A couple of the mechanics we are getting have been working for NGOs fixing private military vehicles this whole time. I think many felt they could assist the war effort without enlistment, and they did. The volunteer effort behind the scenes has been very substantial. Just because someone wasn't fighting, doesn't mean they weren't helping the war effort. Many have used personal funds to support different units, fundraise for drones, etc. Unfortunately the time has come for more people to get in uniform and replace/help those that have served for over two years. |

   Kharkiv, Ukraine. The Russian invaders bombed a civilian area: What the Russian invaders are doing today in Ukraine, they are doing in Syria as well. They have bombed markets, hospitals, schools, health centers and civilian homes, and all of this continues with impunity. Russia is a terrorist state.

Just asking if there was an increase in enlistments. If it was sincere then my apologies. That said, look at history a bit. The US obviously had a massive boost in enlistment due to Pearl Harbor. Did the US have a massive boost to enlistment from the Malmedy massacre? The answer is no. Years of war, death, and destruction tend to do that. The patriotic fervor died off pretty fast and later in the war people served because they had to. I suspect the same is true in Ukraine. |
