Hard to believe that a pretty young girl, from a working class family, carries a G17, arguing for gun rights as a means of self-reliance and a deterrence against a tyrannical government, so the gov shouldn't be making civilian held arms less effective (i.e. bumpstock ban), sees herself as a leftist

It should be pretty simple, they changed the specfic language in the law....if you want it to include bump-stocks, change the law.

Listening to her talk, She does not sound like the "leftist" she claims to be. Maybe that claim is for the benefit of her wo-workers, friends, etc. ? Or maybe she is a leftist and just afraid that Trump will round up people like her for the concentration camps if he wins.

When Trump won, the leftists started behaving like there would be Nazis in pre-WWII Germany - that there would be physical attacks on "marginalized" people. I saw an increase in people who...didn't really fit in the looks of the usual folks going to gun ranges. I suspect the liberals, the left, truly believe, at least enough of them, that guns are the right of the common people to fight against a fascist government al la freedom fighters and resistance fighters in Europe. Of course, they often, likely willfully, don't realize that Socialism/Communism aims to fist disarm a populace before killing the truly marginalized and undesired groups - those who don't work to further the agenda of the leadership.

This chick may in reality be a leftist - open borders, baby murder, 90% tax rates, whatever boxes need to be filled to be accepted by other self-professed leftists/liberals. She may just have retained an...appreciation for self-reliance and firearms from her younger years. I blame the father.
