They will fuck with you on a small boat or board sometimes, but I’ve never heard of them actually attacking a human in the wild. I guess anything is possible. They are an apex predator and highly intelligent.

Humans are THE apex predator. Sure, Orcas could do real damage to some humans and/or boats, but if human kind set out to have a war with Orcas, the Orcas wouldn't last too long. In support of that contention, I offer what happened to most species of whales, and even after commercial whaling was banned, whales still have not recovered to anywhere near where their populations were before the year 1500. When humans set out to really go after a species we (humans) rarely loose.
