Quoted: Buncha AWB-lovin' Clintonista bitches up in here. The 90's were the Dark Times, for those of you too young or too wizened and senile to remember. Fixed stocks. Permanent muzzle devices. 10-round post ban mags, or expensive AF prebans that may or may not have been legal in your rifle. My very first rifle was a 10/22 I bought in 1998. My next trip to a gun show I found a used 25-round "banana clip" for it. $99. The only thing the 90's were good for was milsurps. September 2004 was like the a Spring sunrise after a long winter. Got a 4pack of 30rd AKmags and a 500rd pack of Wolf for under $250. And I got hosed! That was the day after my 18th bday in 97. |

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: I met my wife, got married, bought a house, and probably more than doubled my income in the 90s. Despite the Clintons it was probably my favorite decade. Same here. I graduated from college in the early 90s, made a lot of money in IT, bought a house, met my wife and got married at the end of the decade. But there was a lot about the 90s that I didn't like. I didn't like a lot of the music, a lot of the TV shows and movies (I didn't care for Seinfeld and Friends), the grunge look, Brady Bill and the AWB and, of course, the Clintons. The Clinton ruined the decade for me. Quoted: https://seeklogo.com/images/T/The_History_Channel-logo-0ED2A64380-seeklogo.com.png The 90s were the pinnacle of intelligent TV. History Discovery TLC ZDTV It then rapidly went downhill. I watched a lot of History Channel, Discovery and TLC back then. They were great back in the 90s. Now, they are the epitome of a blind squirrel getting a nut every so often - only rarely do they have something worth watching. For me, the 80s still beats the 90s hands down! |

The 90s for me were: Army, college, ROTC, National Guard, wife, first kid.
MANY good times were had. I also had amassed a nice selection of firearms prior to the "AWB" so that didn't hurt me as badly as some. |

I was a kid in the 80s, and a teenager in the 90s. Only in hindsight do I realize how awesome those decades were. I LONG for those times again, instead we have the current shit.

I graduated HS in 90’ and grew up in the 80’s & 70’s. It was a great time to be a kid and would give anything to have those days back!
I remember watching The Dukes of Hazzard every Friday night and the Muppet Show. Loved The Fall Guy a lot too. Saturday mornings were spent watching cartoons and afterwards riding our bikes all over the place til dark. I got a little Honda 50 in 1980 for my birthday and rode the absolute shit out of that thing. No helmet, no knee pads and just being a kid. |
