[Last Edit: teats]
I put together a GMT Tuna with all top quality parts, and used a Seiko NH34 movement. I made myself a one of a kind watch, that will last me for years. No need to spend thousands of dollars on a watch, that every swing dick can also own.
Watching the time closely to regulate it. Crown gasket, and case back gasket lubed with waterproof grease. Should be able to get in the lake or a pool with no problems.
I really liked the color of this dial. I now have an skx style, and this one with this dial, 1 with green lume, and this one in blue lume. I enlarged the hole to accept the NH34 movement.  I did have a clearance issue, so the hands had to be bent up slightly to clear the indices, and each other. I'm going to look into a shorter GMT hand to stay inside the indices.
Checked, checked, and rechecked everything. Date flips exactly at midnight.
I really like how this turned out. The Iceman checks just about every box in one watch. From lume, to materials, to accurate movement, to eye candy.

That is incredible?  Can you make another?

Yeah, I could, but.....
Pictures don't do it justice. The color of the dial is what I liked.
Here's my skx with the same dial.

Nice. Where'd you get the dial?

Thank you.
There's no good sales right now., so parts ordering is at a stand still.
I paid a good penny for this movement to get this project completed.
I got tired of looking at parts just sitting, and broke down...

That looks really good, nice work.  I'm a little undecided on how the case extends above the bezel but overall a fine looking watch.

Pic.
Not sure what your looking at, but the case is inside the protecting shroud. That's why it's called a tuna. It is removable, and a regular looking watch case is inside that. It's held on by screws.
I'm guessing, that is what you're referring to ?
