Hardywood is pretty awesome. It's exceedingly rare that they make a beer that isn't great.

Oyster City Brewing Company in Apalachicola.
I love their Hooter Brown (when I can find it). It tastes almost identical via tap or can. Their Helles won a gold medal at this year's World Beer Cup |
|
Hoppin' Frog Brewing CO., Akron, Ohio. If you are a serious stout (especially Russian Imperial Stout) check it out. World class quality IMO.

I like Manhattan Project in Oak Cliff. I'm fond of the Hoppenheimer IPA.

Its been a long time since I cared enough to constantly try different things, but with ABs stunt a ceased Busch consumption, and have been "soul searching" a bit for others.
Recently tried a few from Lake of the Woods when I was up in Ontario, and was pretty pleased. They have a brewery on the Minnesota side of the lake, too, and being only a couple hours away, local stores carry some of their varieties. Seems any city over a couple thousand people has one now, but I generally find brew pubs somewhat obnoxious, so if it's not available from a retailer, it's unlikely I have or will try it |

Weyerbacher here in Easton, PA. Awesome IPA's from Troeg's, great Tripel's from Weyerbacher. |

There are no microbreweries in Colorado. All we have is Coors, which I think tastes like watery NyQuil.

Bosque Brewing is right down 550 from me.
Fond of their Scotia Scotch Ale. There are several others in The Land of Entrapment that are good, like Bombs Away. Sandia Cider is really good too. |

I won't speak for the entire state, but near downtown Cleveland two stand-outs are:
Noble Beast Brewing Co. and Masthead Brewing Co., both conveniently within a few miles of each other. There are plenty of others that are also excellent in Northeast Ohio though. Great Lakes has some great beers, but is far from a micro-brewery. |
