Steampunk zombies (Koutetsujou no Kabaneri). Not sure about the method used to stop the spread of the virus, but I guess it kinda fits with the whole steampunk theme. Looks interesting.
Re_Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu also looks interesting, but I'm wondering about the danger of it falling into the 'endless eight' mire that Haruhi did. Hundred looks like another high school battle series. First episode even has me wondering if the main character's roommate will turn out to be a mostly forgotten childhood friend that is pretending to be a guy for some unknown reason. |

The author of the manga has a history of 'going on hiatus' to work on other projects, leaving readers of Highschool of the Dead hanging for long periods of time. The last chapter that was published, was building to some climax in the story, and left things a few chapters short of enough story material for a second season of the anime. If I'm not seriously mistaken, the current "hiatus' is easily the longest one that the author has taken with Highschool of the Dead, since it has been a few years since the last chapter was released.

They are definitely something supernatural and contain an element (invisible spectrum to humans) within them that can be regenerated over time that is capable of becoming any other element found in nature. Sousei no Onmyouji looks promising. Take a 14 year old boy and a 14 year old girl that can't stand each other (the girl is even quite willing to beat the guy to a bloody pulp), and tell them that they have to get married so that their child can be born and (as prophesied) save the world.
Kuromukuro could also be good. Mecha anime that uses the 'old folktales about demons, were actually stories of a past alien invasion' approach. |

I think the show covered probably the first 4-5ish volumes. The 8th volume comes out this month. They released a movie (supposedly a trilogy) before this season, but the first few episodes really just run as the movie in episode form redone a bit. Hopefully more content doesn't take too long. |
