View Quote Well this explains the odd email promotion of signing up to AMC for a discount back in Dec, then the half off promo for HiDive, trying to get subscriptions up for the announcement maybe. Hopefully they're just expanding their portfolio, but the top comment on Crunchyroll 'concerns' me--"I do not have hope that AMC understands that Anime is doing so well because politics has ruined western entertainment." |

I'll continue what others have already said about "In the Land of Leadale", has the same feel of Killing Slimes for 300 years and Kuma Bear with some funny moments. Of the four new shows that came out that day, it was the first I wanted to watch, and wound up enjoying the most.
I liked "Police in a Pod", it had actual humor I enjoyed, which is rare as most anime 'comedy's' don't hit for me. I had no idea that the first episode of Tokyo 24th was 48 minutes long, which is a good thing as I was sucked in and it didn't feel like it, I'm curious to see where it goes. Last was Orient, which was just 'ok',kinda like a more violent Saturday morning cartoon. I'll probably wind up watching it anyways since there are actually less then 30 shows I'm interested in this season |

I haven't watched Ninja Scroll in ages. Was one of the first anime movies I watched. I think it was second, after I watched Akira. I used to have a collector's edition of Akira that was autographed but my ex in high school stole it. Still kinda pissed about that. |

View Quote I think the only Premium site that has Redo of Healer is HiDive. I know for sure it is not on Crunchyroll, Funimation, Netflix, or Amazon. HiDive had a big 50% off subscription sale but it may be over now. It was mentioned earlier here and it was a year subscription for $26. I changed my subscription from monthly to yearly to take advantage of that deal. There is a lot of good anime on HiDive that is not on other sites. A friend of mine told me I had to watch Ninja Scroll when he found out I started watching anime but I haven't gotten to it yet. I personally loved Spice and Wolf. I bought the entire Spice and Wolf series on BluRay when it was on sale a while ago. I also have all 22 of the English translated light novels. I didn't even realize that Isuna Hasekura was still writing more of this series because he also has the Wolf and Parchment series he is writing, but the 23 Japanese light novel released in September of 2021. Hopefully if the translators work fast it will be on sale here by the end of this year or mid next year. |

Wow, that's a blast from the past and same, I still have the VHS copies of those movies (and Wicked City) a friend made for me from the early 90's. And speaking of stuff friends copied to VHS for me from the 90's and anyone looking for "wholesomeness" when Redo of Healer is not scratching that itch, I can recommend any of the "Legend of Overfiend" movies. |

I got a uncensored version "online" back when it was to come out, but it's subed in some other language. The MC is an annoying tool though, but I'm still watching it. A TV show called 'Sliders' did an episode of this exact same premise. |

If everything is in stock when I order from RSA it still takes about a week for them to ship and then another few days to get to PA. So Japan in making the Gundam Episode 'Cucuruz Doan's Island" into a full length movie.
This is an episode so bad that Tomino (Gundam creator) asked that it be removed from the series. Im willing to be bet its going to be amazing and better than any of the shit coming out in the West. |
