A client walks in and says "I know you like guns, here's one for you."  Hands me a case and leaves.
Had an 1894 Marlin  .357 in a gun case, serial number shows 1982 date of manufacture.
I called him and told him that's a $1,000 gun, he said OK, cool, not my thing, Enjoy.

Al least today, Lady Luck was good to me.

This is worse than the 1Surelic guy (not the exact screen name) getting all of the incredible pawn shop deals.  A .357 Mag cowboy gun is on my wish list, and somebody just comes by and gives you one.

Congrats, OP.  Sweet rifle.

Nice! My old neighbor would have things like this happen to him so often it began to make me angry. Well just jealous

It was just too damn often. Hey check out this revolver I got for 75.00, a Colt Trooper. Some guy walks in and offer to sell a  Ruger 270, my brother got it for 250.00.it goes on and on...

I have a 30-30 from 1979 I think. The trigger on it it is really amazing. Crisp break, no slop about 3.5 lbs.

My attorney called me once and asked me to come over and look at a gun .

It was guns , his basement was full of stuff with evidence tags still on um .

The original owner couldn't own them anymore and he owed him 10k in attorney fees so the guy had the police turn them over to him  LOL
