I'd swim it for a $100.00 Basspro gift card... And no thanks, not doing it. Someones life would need to be on the line and even then... |

25 yards? maybe for 10 mil i’d take that shot
30+ yards? not for all the money in the world, it’d be suicide |

Knowing how rare shark attacks really are...
And growing up around the ocean... I would do it... |

I have personally been cage diving in that exact location.
FUCK NO!! I have never seen so many sharks in one location, much less fucking HUGE ass Great Whites! It was awesome in the cage, but fuck being in open water at night!!! |
|
Shit I’ll do it for 250k if I can have a swim buddy and that buddy can have 750k. Has to be Leslie Jones while she’s on the rag tho.

Yes I would, but you'd have to watch me do it naked. $10 mil would get you a speedo. $15 mil for trunks.

I swim laps and do 25 meters in 20 seconds leisurely.
In that situation I suspect id make a cool mil in roughly 10-15 seconds. Or die. |
|
My 50yrd freestyle with flip turn is something like 26 seconds.
Jumping off a boat means I clear the first 5 yards before I hit the water. I will be at the other boat in less then 12 seconds. So unless the fish finder is pinging hot I am going to be out of the water before the shark recognizes the splash. |

Why not, better odds of surviving then winning a million playing the lottery.
Can I throw a couple sticks of dynamite in before hand for a distraction. |

Which would you rather do... walk 25 yards in South Africa or swim 25 yards in S. African waters?

Fine. we can both do it. You can splash and make tons of noise and draw all the attention to yourself. I'll take it slow and easy and quietly. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

Yes I did, that's why I wouldn't swim in those waters.

Is the million tax free,or do I have to pay a luxury tax on it ?

There is no price tag on this for me. 10 billion would not get me in that water, especially no visibility. Well this past weekend I jumped into a boiling bait ball in a spot where a 12’ great white had been spotted an hour earlier. So yeah, I’d probably do that too.

Knowing how rare shark attacks really are... And growing up around the ocean... I would do it... View Quote I’m not afraid of the ocean, and I’ve been in the water and up close with sharks before. So I agree with you, in most any other situation involving sharks....... But the OP’s example isn’t swimming a random patch of water at a random time. It’s about a place where large great whites congregate in large numbers for the express purpose of feeding on animals at the surface. That changes the game for me. I wouldn’t do it. |
|
Good vid and thanks for the tip to turn the volume down.
I wouldn’t do it, but if I lost my job I probably would. |
