Any idea if this will be available in a threaded barrel model? Or is anyone making aftermarket ones yet?

They are pushing VP9's out the door as fast as they can make them. It will be a little bit before other models start being manufactured, I think...

Where are you guys finding them at?  I haven't found one online for sale yet and Gander Mountain and a LGS didn't have one either.

Don't  you have to wear snug pants in order for it to stay put.

I would think it would work better with blue jeans instead of cargo or dockers .

I got one coming, I wish I knew if there was a blade tech nano that would fit. They don't have one for the VP9 yet. Wondering if one for a P30 or P30L would fit.

May want to give Remora holsters a shot - at least until you are able to get exactly what u want. They actually work very well - even in appendix position - and are really comfortable.  And inexpensive. I have a couple of them.  What I like is that because of its lack of anchor points, you can adjust the height and cant about any way you want. I have a VP9 that just shipped out to my FFL and I'm ordering one.

Anyone not familiar w/ these holsters should read/watch some reviews on them.

Doesn't matter what you wear as long as you're wearing a belt w/ it. That is what tightens up against the holster and holds it perfectly fine. Recently got in their tuckable version for another handgun and it's fantastic.  When needed I can wear a tucked in shirt and there is no clip or anything to give the holster away. I wear it AIWB and is completely hidden.

I got a Remora to try and it is comfortable and secure. But reholstering is a pain. Hopefully Bladetech will build a Nano soon, for me those are the best IWB holsters for my style of carry. In the meantime I'll be switching between the Remora and a Sparks Summer Special made for a Sig 220 that fits pretty well. Not as comfortable as the Remora but at least it's easy to reholster.

Looks good.  Interestingly, the first time I saw a stippled gun so many years ago, I freaked out, as many do.  Now I'm desensitized to it, and have almost done it myself several times.  Desensitized, but still not brave enough.

P30 with Trijicon HD's, X300 and an aggressive grip.

Good to see there are actually some people in this subforum that set their guns up for fighting, I figured the VP9 would encourage some of this over here, and Im glad I was right.

Looking forward to returning, but I gotta find one of these in stock somewhere....and I have a feeling ours are going to look very similar.

There are a few LGS in my area that are getting anywhere from 1 to 5 at a time but they are selling out once they put them out on display.     I happened to stop by one of the LGS today after I finished running an errand and they only have one in stock for $679, standard model with 2 mags.

Got it. Shot it. Decided to put Trijicon HD sights on it. Bought the ones for a P30/HK45C. Ten minutes later the gunsmith comes back and says that he has to keep it overnight to do some machining to get the sight to fit in.

Thanks for the threaded barrel link. I buy from HK Parts but wouldn't have guessed they'd have a threaded barrel in stock already.

My barrel for my new TiRant 9 is on the way.

As for the VP9:

Shot it today for the first time and it's AMAZING!

It's moving to my daily carry as soon as I find a holster.

JUST BUY ONE. You will not regret it.

Now, if they'd only make a 10mm version...

+1 on 10mm version. Especially if they make a 10mm long slide, then they can just take my money directly from my bank account.

I didn't read the whole thread, but do these pistols have polygonal rifling?

I assume they do.  I think {??} the only HK that doesn't was the VP70.

However, HK has never seemed to embrace the 10mm round before so I doubt it will happen now.

Any idea on holsters? I'd love an IWB right now.

Also, who has the best deal on spare magazines?

Did the HD's change the POI from your POA or is it the same as the stock sights?  I'm about to make a change to HD's on mine as well.  Just curious what you noticed.

The POI is the same as factory sights. The rear charging tabs move up and down now though if that matters to you. What are you using to replace the sights?

So the tabs are "loose" with these sights?  Are the sights smaller than the originals?  I'm using a MGW sight pro with a 30 degree pusher.

I should have my sights tomorrow so I guess I will find out then.

The HD's sit a little higher above the slide compared to the OEMs so the tabs have some vertical play. I'll take a picture later today to clarify if you need me to.

As a side note, I got rid of the tabs and ground them flat. I got to used to having them and short stroked my Glocks at a class the other day.

Anyone find themselves wanting to make modifications to the pistol? I really think there could be a little more cut under the trigger guard, and I wonder if the grip saddle could be a little higher.

Funny story about that.  I had emailed them a few weeks ago asking about availability.  Was told I would be notified.  Found out through other means they had another shipment up on the webstore.  $673 for the LEO model.  *click* bought it right then and there.  Got an email 1 day later from them about an in-stock notification.  Decided to click through to the website anyways.  Now $699 for the same model.

Well I paid 625 for mine standard model. It came in yesterday and I took it to the range today.  150 rounds of my reloads. Perfect.  I really dig the trigger.  Very very accurate.  Iam pleased. I had to use my hk45 raven holster at the range today until the vp9 fury holster comes in tomorrow.
