If I was going to buy a new snubbie, I'd probably buy an older snubbie and call it new to me.

I just bought a Kimber K6xs alloy frame .38 special. I love it. I wouldn't mind the steel model in .357 now.

I carry with underwood 38sp+p, but probably something I always have on me especially in summer months, an all steel probably not. Congrats |

I am currently carrying a Taurus Model 85 with the concealed hammer from the mid-90s. Not as nice as a Smith Model 36 (which is one of my favorite revolvers) but pretty decent non the less. And I would cry less if it got stolen or something. Just a decent "get off me" gun.

Pocket carry; Smith J frame. Colt Dec Special is just a bit large, the Ruger SP101 is too heavy. Note that none of these have adjustable sights. The Ruger LCR is a solid choice. Nothing L frame or N frame really qualifies. Likewise the short barrel Pythons are a bit hefty and honestly too expensive for daily wear and tear. Right now I have a Taurus 856 ULCH in black that I am partial too. My best advice. Get a lightweight 6 shot .38. Because it'll be the gun you won't mind carrying, even if you are wearing shorts with no belt. I only paid 250 for the Taurus. Gun.deals is your friend. |
