Oh, we will. It's a suspension, not a discontinuation of conversion work.
We got absolutely clobbered the last few months, orders up 158% and service work was nearly double the norm. On top of that, the state rammed through a bunch of new legislation that forced us to take additional time for consulting with our attorney and making alterations to the facility in order to both be in compliance with the new laws and also be able to deny state inspectors access to the manufacturing areas that they have no business being in.
Quite a bit more time (and a whole lot of money) was spent moving in, cleaning up, leveling, dialing in, tooling up and finally writing programs and getting translation software for our newest machine, which is a 4 axis subspindle lathe. Today I was able to run the first few parts on it, though, which showed me it's capabilities as well as the things that need attention on this used machine. So we're not home free yet, but adding this third lathe that has a lot of capability should make a world of difference in the near future.
I did, however, decide that certain cans are just too much of a headache, so there are a few additions to the small list of cans we won't convert. Namely Surefire stuff, where we previously only wouldn't do the legacy FA series, I have decided I'm just not going to do any Surefire conversions. They will have to be a semi-tubeless recore to get Bravo/HUB threads.
