arggg!! that hurts! i have a great dane, and shes chewed up sooo much of my crap! man, i feel your pain...
Tough grip; looks well worn now so put it back on your rifle. Just like the ol' days when you on purposely destroyed a new pair of jeans so they'd look cool.
Those are better pics than on any of the seller's websites. I might have to get one myself.
When my GSD was a li'l hound, I brought home a huge moose antler. She used to sit in the palm and chew on the tines until they were all chewed off. It saved our wooden furniture and shoes, I'm sure. |
Ahh yes, the joys of teething Shepherd puppies...
I've had them destroy sunglasses, the entire carpet in a room and even a pine table. The MIAD still looks usable though. Tom |
Note to self: Keep my OD MIAD away from my 95lb Yellow Lab when it shows up from Talon Arms.
So what are you gonna do with it now? WIZZO |
Since it's a loss, I'll pay for shipping and dispose of it for you. I'm helpful like that
MagPul MIAD: now with "distressed" finish for authenticity!

I have enough trouble keeping my dog away from the live herring bait when we are fishing, hope I dont have to worry about my AR parts now!
Now with "K-9 GRIP"!!!
I miss my German Shepard. Brought him back from Germany when I was a kid during the Cold War. Best dog I've ever seen/had/met. |
Let's see -
three remote controls several bicycle tires TV antenna (jumped up the wall, grabbed the cable off the wall, tore the antenna off the roof) some pillows wallpaper in the bath room coffee table legs of the dining room chairs fence high voltage wires to the AC - three times numerous toys from the kids running shoes two pair of jungle boots one pair of work boots tarp Never did get a gun part, though ... 120 # yellow lab. Killed me having to put him down .... could outrun the fastest guy in PT. Protected the Mrs and kiddos, would not leave her side when she was pregnant. Could not save him from himself (allergic to just about everything ...) Most ironic - he found and shredded the book "The Art of Raising A Puppy". |
<--- You should see what an English Bulldog can do. I have been around dogs all my life and I got a big education when we got our bulldog 2.5 years ago. No other dog is quite like a bullie.
I once found him chewing on an Aimpoint M2........it lived. |
I hope you're being sarcastic. Don't leave your shit laying around if you don't want it messed with. |
Even though the pup took it off the table, it doesn't change that I didn't thump him. He was given the proper command, and released it immediately. I won't thump him for obeying, and at 8 months old, he is still just a 70+lb puppy.
A MIAD is cheap in the big scheme of things, and it functions fine on the weapon. I expect a lot from the pup, but I don't expect him to be perfect. Besides, if he was trying to be destructive, the MIAD wouldn't look the same. |
Added surface grip. Hell that dog may have just saved your life.
Battle scars!. Hell, it aint made for workin' unless it has some "luvin-marks". Like a truck
So why is your lab at Talon Arms? |
He told me he wanted a MIADbone WIZZO |

Your MIAD held up pretty well. Our blue heeler can destroy a cow's hoof pretty quick with her adult teeth. I have a few extra A2 grips. She can have those.
Watch out, it looks like your dog is wondering what your AR tastes like... |
yep...looks "battle worn" now. |
I accidentally left my hobby room door open and my pup had gotten a bag o' XM193. Any way he was chewing on and had bent up a couple of rounds. Dumb pup, bad parent!! The door stays CLOSED now.
That justs hurts my teeth remembering that. Ugh. |
How about I replace the grip and send along some other goodies in exchange for you taking some product pictures for me? Your photo Kung Fu is strong! |

The Aimpoint, or the dog? Seriously, (mcgrubbs, and Stickman) those are some pricey chew-toys!! He could be telling you something (Linky) |
What if its an anti gun dog...those libs are trying every tactic in the book these days....i say put er down just to be sure
Jk! Glad you could recover that one, expensive tastes your dog has |
IM sent. |
Why settle for dogs when you can have a 30 foot dirt drop?
ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=253934 I was very impressed with how well the grip held up during testing considering I had heard the pre-prod's were brittle. |
