The recipe. PSA stripped lower receiver ($59 + $8 shipping + $20 FFL) PSA LPK w/o FCG ($25) Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced trigger kit ($200) PSA M4 stock kit w/ buffer ($30) JSE 16" 9mm complete upper ($420 + $10 shipping) ProMag mag block ($35) ASC 32 round magazines ($18) Aimpoint PRO ($380) When the ATF gets the stamp back I plan to put together a Spikers or RRA 9mm upper with TROSUSA 9" barrel and FF handguard. |

The bullet diameter of a 9mm is .355 but I would assume he would have to over bore it a little to prevent the bullet from striking the flash hider. Weird. I have a KX3 on my 9mm SBR that I didn't bore out at all. I was able to drop a 9mm cartridge through without modification. 100+ rds, no issues. ETA: Pic Thread! http://i242.photobucket.com/albums/ff1/born2lose76/Guns/DDLES9.jpg[/quote] I did not bore out my KX3. Like yours an entire 9mm cartridge will fall through easily. |

Thanks. Don't think I've ever seen one without the tube cover. Looks slick. |

The pistol length rail is the only one that would allow the rifle to be fired unsuppressed, however I see no benefit of ever shooting it that way. If it's always going to be suppressed, would I be better served with the longer specter rail to protect the silencer? Of course, the longer length adds weight, but it allows for a wider grip and a longer sight radius when using irons. Since 99% of the time I'd use the red dot, sight radius doesn't really count for much though. Logistically, if I don't put it on the rifle, I could see the specter length rail having more uses in other projects than the pistol length rail. Thoughts? To me the shorter rail just looks unbalanced IMO. Just wish my parts would come in from DDLE. Arggghhh!!! |
