Couldn’t be happier. Great for its intended purpose as a lightweight rifle for use passive aiming w/NV Maybe all those IDF guys were on to something when they put their 31s on top of a carry handle. |

I'm even conflicted, for the purposes of this thread, on slick modern WML. but i guess since "beauty is in the eye of the beholder", therefore "KISS is in the eye of the beholder"? |

Just ordered that IWC light mount for my M4.
It's gonna be sweet. Purchased the mount for the Polytac. I'll post up pics once I get it. |

Is there a lot of flex in that light mount on that B5 handguard? There was some so I switched to M4 hand guards with the IWC mount. The B5 is super light and thin, I just didn’t like the feel of it but that’s just my preference. |

If BCM released their two piece drop in polymer with Mlok instead of keymod, I'd jump on it. Almost all of my extra accessories are ether in Mlok or 1913.

Thanks guys!
The only thing I am thinking about doing is either modifying the rear sight or finding a a2 aperture. To have a larger aperture. |

I would have prefered a chopped set of A1 trianguler hanguards. I had the B5 in the parts bin for over a year and that was as close to the trianguler handguards I could get at the time. I wanted narrow, light, and sleak, but it has morfed to the current config. I'm not a huge fan of the FSB mounted light mount, but it keeps the profile slim. I actually have a MOE midlength in my parts bin, and I do prefer the Mlok setups normally. |

At first glance it may not look like a "KISS Carbine", but I happen to like fixed-stock carbines. 14.5" with a p&w Vortex by JT. Don't have the sling on it for the pic, but I use a GI top sling adaptor.
