BCM has options for perm attaching a muzzle device but the one I would want to attach is the 51t brake from aac which bcm doesn't offer. So if i get the a2x FH installed could I at a later date cut it off if I plan on getting a new brake? |
|

I would buy the one you want separate and see if BCM could weld it for you before shipping out your order.
If not, get it sent to ADCO and request it. |

Miserable douchebag list:
Cham1ber (cry baby) sbrooks75 (welch master) terral (ninny boy miser) |
So I noticed on a lot of the military rifle pictures a lot of the rifles do not have a BUIS but almost all of the clones do. Why might that be?
|
|
|
So obviously my next question would be why would some one remove their buis?
|
|
|
unnecessary to some. More shit to break. Not gonna use why put it on?

Magazines specific to the 6.8 will be necessary depending on OAL of the cartridge and if you want more than just a few rounds. Magazines range in price from $17-40 depending on what manufacturer and what OAL cartridge it allows. |

What's the opinion on barrel length. Anal about it being 14.5 vs 16. Worth it to send it I advocate and have it cut to 14.5 and fh pinned?

You know, you have me wanting to build another block ii just so I can use a T1 like your build? Damn you! as to barrel length, I've got both. I need a 16" for my suppressor mount so I go with that. I like the 14.5" better. |

Mainly because I like to tinker with stuff, so I'm always playing around with different set ups and 16" makes that a little easier in my opinion. YMMV. Also I plan on hunting with my block 2 this year and having 16" will save me a huge headache should I run into a DNR warden. |

I pinned an AAC 51T hider to one of mine and now I'm waiting on a Surefire can... If you live in a state where you can SBR, no big deal, but the pinned muzzle devices are a pain in my opinion. |

The barrel being 1.5 inches shorter really does make a difference to me. Your going to find lots of people that prefer 16 inches instead because, at the end of the day, it boils down to personal preference. There really is no increase or decrease in accuracy or velocity between the two. |

I was looking some more, it appears only the XPS3, WMX200 and Insight MRDS are mostly on SCAR 17's, maybe Army doesn't use these on their normal M4's and just for CCT/USAF at the moment?

How do you like that strap/wire holder on your rail? I forgot who makes it but remember seeing it recently. |

I posted it here, and then was accused of being a troll, then told it did not belong here. It is designed to hold the tape switch and the wires. In this case, because of where the VFG is, I use it to secure the wires. I really like it. I have another one that I actually use to hold the switch on another gun. It beats tie wraps and sticky stuff. http://www.tareinco.com/tareinco-tape-switch-holder/ |

If I remember correctly the EXPS3-0 was added to the SOPMOD kit because its transverse mounted battery was better able to deal with the recoil of the SCAR 17. That would at least explain why we aren't seeing them on M4's. |

Just my personal opinion, but a 16" barrel on a Block II clone just looks funny. Even if you have to pin a FH to make legal length, the slightly shorter barrel makes all the difference to me. It just looks "right." Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Need a price check on the Surefire FA556-212 suppressor in Dark Earth. I've called several local dealers and they've all quoted me at $1460. Are they jacking the price up or is that like the typical in store value?
