I'll have to remember never to deal with that guy then.

Yea, bummer. Id say that is a welch, posted accordingly.

Everyone had the same chance I did

I was hoping no one actually tattled and he just did some research after it "sold" (I'm sure the guy got a lot of IM's asking if he had more), but I just saw your thread in the EE... I almost can't believe someone in here would do that.

I hope that is the case. Hopefully there isn't anyone in here like that

More than likely, somebody IM'ed him offering more money, and he welched. I say ban him. A deal is a deal.

Seller might weasel out under the "made in Sweeden" Mil Aimpoints,  USMC marked KAC sights,  Mil M951clause. Technically,  those items are forbidden to be sold on EE.

Someone did tattle. They sent the seller an email advising that the 4p was likely stolen.

Or they sent seller an IM saying that they would pay a lot more,  and that the seller could get out of the original deal by claiming to have received a side message stating the the item was stolen.

At any rate,  if all of this went down using ARFCOM messaging,  it will get worked out.

Can't the mods see people's IM's? Send out the Goat Signal!

Ha...Leave it to a cloner to rat and try and work a side deal.  As far as mods reading people's IM's that is a slippery slope I hope they don't go down.

Yeah that's shallow. I doubt it's a regular in here though.

I'm pretty average with tools. The 80% arms jig made it pretty stupid proof. Once you "pilot" hole the lower you go through and little by little take a layer off with a router. Drill press, and router make it the easiest. I can't imagine using a hand drill.

I started on a blank one last night. I finished it this morning and started the engraved one right after. My first attempt was pretty good. Follow the steps with the right tools and it's just time that you're working for.

A HUGE shout-out to Stoner25mkiv for the magwell vice block & link (prize for last challenge, even though it's been extended). He's a great guy & we're fortunate to have him in the forums.

Now for the goods. On the left is my decade-old, homemade from a 2x4,  block. Stoner's is a helluva upgrade. Yes, I have 4 CQBR uppers, M4 Block I,  Block II, Block II FSP, Suppressors, etc., & had a primary armorer tool made from a 2x4. Anyway, big thanks to Stoner25mkiv.

Here's a pic of the cleaning link. It holds the upper in position for cleaning. The mag block secures the lower via mag release. No surprise that they fit perfectly, as they're precisely machined by Stoner25mkiv.

You list your Trust as the manufacturer. The only thing required is that you put SOME type of serial number on it but other than that, I believe your trust markings and a serial are GTG.

No, you are the manufacturer not Colt. You enter a code FMI for an 80% lower. Then the serial number I created you would put down. That's how I read the instructions out there on it. We'll see in 4 months what it comes back as.

Easy, cheese wiz! The post was to demonstrate the mag block & link.

However, I do run bad levers on several of my rigs, but I don't operate. Hell, I had an Allen wrench welded to my bolt release (before bad levers) when you were probably suckin teet. They're pretty functional in reality, especially for single-loading 80gr smk's without coming out of your sling.

Yeah not uncommon. I left in the note section it's an 80%. If they want a CAD or a picture of the lower I'll send it to them. It's really not that big of a deal.

And what is wrong with the B.A.D Lever exactly? I have them on both my AR lowers, and love them. Wouldn't build a AR without one, unless I didn't have a choice.

Btw, isn't this supposed to be a photo thread?

Random question, I'm wondering how many shims you guys used when installing your Surefire 3/4 prongs.  How close do you want the suppressor to fit to the RIS?  This is my first suppressor and I'm completely new to this.  I'm running a SF Socom RC 556 can.

You add the bevel spacer, and the minimum amount of shims (smallest) in order to index the MD correctly.

Dude... There is a REASON they are called BAD levers. Plus I mean Chris Costa runs one man! Haters gonna hate! :D

I don't care if Richard Simmons and Elton John somehow had a gay love child, and that love child, who ends up being the gayest human being on the face of earth, ends up running a BAD lever, lol. I'd still use it because it's actually a really good idea/design, and is frequently very useful.

Plus, who the hell cares what Chris Costa thinks, or is doing, anyway? I don't really keep myself up to date on what he's running on his rig, just so I know not to do that in an attempt to look cool. If it works, it works.

And I realize you were probably being facetious (or at least I hope you were), but are you going to stop running Pmags, or anything else Magpul, now, because Costa might have one too? Lol.
