Is the eye relief on that ta50 as terrible as they make it sound?

I don't really have any problem with it. It's a hair shorter than my -33, which the specs on it don't seem correct either. The FOV is great on it. It's definitely my favorite ACOG I own(also have a -11 as well). I think one of the reasons they aren't popular was they didn't have a BDC option in the Gen 1s, so most people grabbed a -33.

I'm used to the 31. These on paper SHOULD be close.

It's been a while since I've looked through a -31, but it doesn't seem that bad. Maybe it's the relative size of the sight.

I really need to get one of those photo websites so I can add some of my stuff. I have some other triji stuff at my parents but right now I have a VCOG, TR24, accupower 3-9, and an accupower 1-8 and a rmr without a home. Plus some hd night sights.

Oooohhhhh, boy, this one turned into a bit of buffet. There's a little of this and a little of that

LVPC's RL8000
Aervoe's Forest Green, Field Drab, Khaki,
Sand, Earth Brown and Coyote.

There may be more in there too. I set out to do something pretty basic and didn't especially like the way it ended up. Then I tried digging myself out of the hole by just kinda throwing everything at it and hoping something would stick.
But thanks, man. I like the way it eventually turned out.

Whatever you did, I like it. I think the scope needs some color though.

Once you get one you want to get more. My dad spoiled me having trijicon while I was growing up. He had 3-9 accupoints on his deer rifles and our M1A and a reflex on one of his AR's and night sights on most of our pistols. Now I have two 1-4 accupoints, 1 3-9 accupower, 1 1-8 accupower, 2 rmr's some HD night nights and a VCOG. I also had an ACOG when I was in the 82nd.
