I’m thinking about trying to find one for a suppressor host, but haven’t looked at them in forever.

I don't think I have seen one under $600 in a long time.

I was really hoping they were around $500 still.

I have one and they aren't all that great,if you want it for collectible reasons or cool factor sure go for it.
I think you would be much better off with a Ruger American gen two.
The Ruger will be lighter easier to mount a optic and more accurate.
And probably won't cost much more.

You’re probably right.

You’re also going to need a 15x1.0 threaded can or adapter.  There’s no guarantee that the stock threads are concentric and I can’t recall if there’s a shoulder or if it would index off of the muzzle.
They were fun rifles when they were $300.  The aftermarket 20-rd box mag adapters made for a nice truck gun.  Beyond that, they’re not worth what others are asking for them in my opinion.  Same with the Ishapore .308 Enfields, but that’s another story.

$700 to $900.   I’ve seen them top a grand. I bought mine for $675 two or three years ago and was happy with that price.  They were never what you’d call a bargain.

If you can find one, they fit on the rifles.  They’re not detachable, but you can refill with stripper clips.  It worked, but the novelty wore off and I got rid of it.  I would do it again if I found a smoking deal on both, but it would be with the intention of making money when I retire and start liquidating everything, lol!

Picked mine up in a trade at the gun show this weekend. Gonna try it out tomorrow. Trying to source a decently priced bayonet and now that sweet 20rd trench magazine.
