Found a box in the garage - It had a bunch of shit I totally forgot about in it. Like the Spuhr stock. I kinda dig it.

I’ve been increasingly debating doing the ACR stock. I want an A3F stock, but not for the astronomical price they go for. I like the look of the ACR stock, as well as it being a folder, it may be a worthwhile upgrade compared to my current A2 stock. Is that the KAC rail or the B&T? That’s another thing I’m undecided on, my PTR is currently wearing the OEM Mlok rail. |

If you're running a taller optic, it works fantastic. Only reason I changed to the Spuhr is because I found it and it is pretty sweet. But I do like this as well so I may keep it on for a while. It doesn't fold but whatev! Its the KAC rail. There is no substitute. I found something close from Cadex Defense, but ultimately went to the KAC. |

I have some Magpuls, but I don't have them on all of my mags. Even with those, I will do administrative reloads with retention unless as you say that really is not a concern based on circumstances. |

@Johnny_Longslide
How do you like the Fab Defense MP5K-RS handguard on your 9KT? Any pics from the muzzle end? It looks like it extends past the 3-lug mount, if so can you measure the internal diameter of the handguard? I'm thinking about picking one up, but I'm wondering if my suppressor will fit inside that portion. My suppressor is about 1.39" OD at that point. Thanks! -Randy |

I tried to dye an old scratched ‘72 G3 buttstock. A full bottle of dye at a slight boil for an hour wouldn’t penetrate the old plastic. Plastic bonded paint on now with a new rubber buttpad. Also used an extra PTR S/F poly trigger housing.

I had eye surgery and iron sights aren't so hot for me anymore and his of course are same way. With the diopter rear it's not too bad, but I'll probably end up with an optic at some point. |

Two years I think, I'm just trying to design the scope mount right now. I messed up with the dimensions of the pictured one, so I'm having another 3d printed in plastic to test it before I get one milled. |

I'm pretty sure you got me beat on the "modernization" front though. I never considered the Surefire forend because I really like railed handguards... but it actually works quite well and I got a deal. Not up to Modlite standards at only 1000 Lumen/10,600 candela, but it will do. I'm going to utilize another on the my other project (AP5) |
