I bet the conspiracy is that she's not competent/conscious enough to understand cases or write opinions and her clerks will be writing all of her opinions with essentially no input from her until she's three days dead. Nurse tweaks the drugs, head clerk at her bedside gives her a two minute summary of the case and "her" opinion that they wrote as she fades in and out, she grunts and passes out again, that's creatively translated as assent. Not a conspiracy to avoid being removed from the bench, which I don't think can be done, but a conspiracy to keep generating liberal opinions as long as possible.
