Epic guitar breaks. If people arnt voting it’s because they haven’t heard it all the way through or they have no taste.

Why all the Skynyrd love here?

I thought Arf hated them because of their anti 2A comments.

Easily.  Though the entire Dark Side of the Moon album qualifies as a single 'work' in my mind (I never listen to it as single tracks)

You misspelled "definitely."  I have no time for anyone who would argue otherwise.

High is the way, but our eyes are upon the ground
You were the light and the way that they'll only read about
I only pray Heaven knows when to lift you out
Ten thousand days in the fire is long enough
You're going home
You're the only one who can hold your head up high
Shake your fist at the gates saying
I have come home now
Fetch me the spirit
The son, and the father
Tell them their pillar of faith has ascended

It's time now, my time now
Give me my, give me my, wings

When mom finally goes I dont think I will be able to listen to it again.

For CCR, the epic I'd pick is I Heard It Through The Grapevine, the full 13-minute version.

Of the poll choices, I voted for the number one requested song of all time. It's the winner by default.

Three pages in and no War Pigs. Shame.

... No Prokofiev?

Are you KIDDING me?

If this doesn't make you have RCOB and a good battle rage and a bpm of over 100, don't check for a pulse, you are DEAD.

Even if you HATE orchestral / classical music, you need to force yourself to listen to it; it is worth it.

Edited: found a version with the original movie footage.

I really couldn't decide (Suzy Q, Midnight Special, Proud Mary, Heard It thru the Grapevine, Green River, etc), but in the final analysis, I thought Born On A Bayou was the most popular song which defined the CCR sound). Suzy Q, Midnight Special, Heard it thru the Grapevine were great covers. Green River, Proud Mary, Commotion, etc were all lesser tunes. IMHO.
