This thread has fallen off a fucking cliff. I'm hardly a prude, and never offended, but pictures of starving children have no place in here. That, and the COC violations, should be enough for the moderators to lock this thread and call for a fresh start. Lighten up Nancy |

I'd suggest limiting yourself to reruns of Jeff Dunham and Dane Cook |

My son is almost 3, so I should be able to start gun safety stuff with him ina a year or so and have him shooting another year aged that, depending on him, of course. |

(she looks like she was having a pretty good day in that picture btw - good for you!) Thanks! She was having a great time doing the photo shoot. (that's what that was for the cover of Canadian Firearms Journal magazine). She's a shooter and really good at it for her age. She knows all the safety rules and has no problems reminding others of them if needed. We'll be doing another shoot with Oleg in the spring hopefully. |

Awesome picture. Three things come to mind: 1.) I assume this method is used because of limited clearance around the demolition. Therefor: A.) What happens when the stack is full, and they're still 100 feet off the ground? B.) Why not just drop it into the space where the crane is, instead? 2.) Why is the operator required to wear a hardhat in this situation? |

teacher's idea is
Quoted:
1 cut made 2 pieces 1 cut took 10 minutes to make 3 pieces you cut twice 2 cuts x 10min/cut = 20min okay so I was right the first time I saw this. I just don't see how she got 15, I don't understand. 2 pieces = 10 minutes 10min/2 =5 minutes per pieces thus 3 needed pieces x 5min/piece = 15 minutes poor comprehension of the problem I guess. We are not talking about "pieces" here... and that is the mistake that the teacher made. How do you take one single board and make two "pieces" out of it? You make ONE cut. It took her 10 minutes to make ONE cut and turn one board into two pieces. The question then asks how long would it take her to make three "pieces" and thus how long would it take to make two 10 minute cuts = the correct answer of 20 minutes. The teacher is an idiot and has ZERO business teaching. ETA: If that were my kid, I would march right up to school with a board and a saw and have some fun. Okay hear me out. while I agree the correct answer is 20 minutes, the question is......it took her "ten minutes" two saw the board into two pieces. If she works "just as fast" how long will it take to saw it into three pieces? wouldn't the correct answer be 10 minutes? play on words? Your taking "just as fast" as the time it takes. It means the rate of her work. I know what it means I just figured I'd throw a wrench in the problem It was a joke, some of you people on this site are just too uptight. I just don't see how it could take 10 minutes to make one cut. |

ok so what were they saying before they chucked the piss bottle? and what did they chuck it at? Apparently they hit whatever it was because they cheered. But in the next scene they did an almost identical cheer. what was that about? |
