Not me. I have three kids. I love the holidays because i get to experience childhood vicariously through them again.

I dread it as well. I try to put some thought into the gifts I give and usually get shit in return. That, and the whole season stresses me the fuck out and costs me money.

It seems as if I just took down my Christmas stuff only a few months ago. Thanksgiving is next Thursday. Where does the time go?

I enjoyed it when the kids were young. Now it stresses me out trying to figure out what to get everyone. I don't look forward to it.

I'm about as religious as a coat hanger... but, I LOVE Christmas time. My favorite time of the year.

As always, my Jewish wife and her irreligious husband will be watching my DVD of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" again this year.

(And yes, I will probably have tears in my eyes when Linus lays down the law.)

I'm looking forward to it.

I have a bunch of vacation saved up, have some good activities with the family planned, and it will be fun. Making it wonderful for the kids is the fun part, and done right, doesn't have to be hard - or expensive. I also have a terrific gift for my wife, she is going to love it. Me? I'll get a couple thousand cast bullets, that will make me happy.

Taking treats around to the neighbors is the most fun part. We drive from house to house, and let the kids run to the door with a plate of goodies.

There is a pretty good rock station here that literally switches over to nothing but Christmas/ New Years music for a whole month!

No that I have a big boy job and no longer have to work in retail it will be tolerable. I always hated dealing with all the ass holes that waited til the last minute and surprise surprise we didn't have it. I loved how it was always my fault

Every year I tell my wife that I'm going to really get into the Christmas season, and I do for a few days.

Then I start seeing the Black Friday stories, people trampling each other for stuff, and how it's important for retailers to make as much money as they can.

By the week before Christmas, I'm sick of it and ready for it to be over.

My wife and I haven't bought each other presents since we got engaged, we are fortunate enough to be able to get whatever we want when we want it and count our blessings for that every day. Immediate family are easy to shop for as we know there hobbies and likes and they don't expect anything which makes us want to give them more. The extended family has been cut off completely (one cousin still in the mix) due to expecting outrageous amounts being spent on gifts.

We used to go to the mountains of Tennessee every year and rent a rustic cabin at a state park back in the sticks. Peace and quiet, no phones, cook up a bird and relax ahhhhh.

This time of year if you look hard enough you can find stay one get one night free and we would stay a week at half price.

We don't buy a lot of presents, that's not what Christmas is all about. We would buy a lot of stuff after Christmas day though at all the sales and come home and celebrate with the stranger half of the family with all the sale stuff on New Years Eve.

I loves me some Christmas.

I go all Clark Griswold on the house, play Christmas music and sit infront of the fire, drink me some eggnog and wassel. No kids so the wife and I only have to buy for each other. She's never bought me a shitty gift. Tools, cigars, books, gun stuff, geeky Star Wars stuff.

Another excuse for turkey and ham. HAM! Pecan pie, apple pie, pumpkin pie, stuffing.....you guys are all a bunch of scrooges.
